      It all depends on the type of terrain you ride too. The carnivores might be a great tire for you. I’m out of PA and most of our trails are rocky. We’ll see how it goes. So far I’m really happy with them.

    Went from Bighorn 2.0s to Carnivores and noticed same thing with ruts. Theres not much to bite just slick sidewall. I was a big fan of my old Bighorns those really did me good, but were smaller tires.

  • @beliefisnotachoice

    Do they measure at 32 inches when mounted? I wonder how they compare the Sedona Rockabillys.

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  3 года назад +2

      Ours measured 31-3/4. I’m hearing the 14” rims measure different than the 15” rims. We have 14s. I have 3000 miles on them now and they are by far the best tire I have ever ran. The traction is unreal.

    • @beliefisnotachoice
      @beliefisnotachoice 3 года назад +1

      @@TheCanAmCrew that's good to hear. I've always sort of overlooked them thinking the lack of soft surface traction would over shadow their increased hard surface traction but apparently that isn't the case.

    Maybe not the question that most would ask but I have a new Kawaski Ridge Limited and hate the 27" tires on it. I have an option of getting used like new set of 31" Carnivore with 14" wheels or used like new 30" Roxxzilla with 14" wheels. The wheels are not that important to me but look good I just want a 30 or 31" tire or even 29" on my machine. I don't do any rock crawling like you just hunting, trailing riding, and work machine. My biggest obstacles will be mud and/or snow with maybe some steep hills/rocks mixed in but not much which do you recommend?

    How are the zillas on wet asphalt (rain) and the wear after 3 years? 😅 And we're the carnivores better or worse than the bighorn's? In other words, overall how would you rank these 3 models? Greetz from Belgium 😊

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  5 месяцев назад

      @@ASUSfreak the zillas grip just as good on wet asphalt as dry. They are an amazing tire and we usually get 2500-3000 miles out of a set. I liked the big horns over the carnivores. I would put zillas at a 10/10. Big horns at a 4/10 and the carnivores at a 2/10.

      oh WoW! I was thinking like 1st zillas, 2nd bighorn's and 3th carnivores or something, not with Points out of 10. But you did and now it even make a greater impression of how you would rate them. Dang, that's a crazy result! I only drove fisrt bighorn's on my 2007 Grizzly and they were awesome! Now I have new RMAX2 SE with a stock tire on it (in Belgium it's not the Carnivores) and they are allmost worn out. They did deliver the carnivores with the buggy so those are next on my rig, that's why I asked. Hopefully I have better results lol 😅

    I came from 30 inch crawler XG. Now I have 32 inch Roxxzillas and my ass end is sliding like mad. 2017 turbo R. They climb well but man do my rear tires break loose easy in the hard pack. Maybe the crawlers were just stickier. I thought the zillas would have better grip on the dirt. 4 wheel drive is awesome with them of course.

    • @TheCanAmCrew
      @TheCanAmCrew  3 года назад +1

      I’ve actually had the opposite happen to me. They hook so much that it’s unsettling lol. Maybe try a lower psi. I run 8-9 in mine and they don’t slide at all. I haven’t tried the crawlers yet though to compare.

      They weren’t any louder than the other tires we’ve ran. After running the road for a minute or 2 they really hook especially around turns haha. They throw little pebbles and road debris more as well but I’m guessing it’s because of the compound.

    How about deep mud clay mix like in the nastier areas of Mines and Meadows? I dont look for mud but sometimes it finds me. Also I swapped that viscolock for a torqlocker last year, probably the best money I have spent on the machine, so far. I keep up with my friends XMRs with smartlock a lot better, however the cryptids on their machines do have the mud advantage.

    • @TheCanAmCrew
