I just received a set of four Terrabite 10 ply aramid tires to replace the stock tires on my RZR Trail 900 Eps. I replaced 26 inch standard Polaris tires with 27 inch slightly wider Terrabites that still fit the standard wheels. I won't lose my trail classification to pass the narrow gates but I'll get a little more clearance on what is always a little too low front end.
I just bought a set in 32” for a Jeep truck. I know they’re not meant for the pavement but I did get the aramid and they claim they’re DOT so do you think they’ll be okay on the pavement- thanks
@@cousin_JACK I don't know about the relative weight of a Jeep and a RZR. Assuming it's not way heavier they might work. But if the Jeep is much heavier then I think you'll have issues with having to over pressure the tires. I'm not sure there might be a safety issue in a situation like that. I'm an engineer but not the right kind to be confident in expressing an opinion. If you know anyone in the tire business they'd probably be the ones to ask.
Have the 34" Terrabites on my Rocky Mountain KRX demo. Have the 32" Megabites on my personal turbo rzr. Love them both. Major difference is terrabites will last twice as long if you do a lot of pavement driving. Megabites seem to get more traction across the board.
I actually wanted to get megabytes in a 33 inch but they don’t make them. So I either have to go with a 32 inch or 34 inch. How tall are your 32 inch megabytes actually?
How about a snow tire review? Those of us up here in the mountains could use some recommendations for tires that work well in deep powder, wet heavy snow, ice etc. My Carnivores work pretty good, but what else works?
Solid Video - Interested to get your opinion on what you would put on the 2022 Northstar Trailboss Crew Polaris. They come with the arched A-Arms and 14" ground clearance. I have mine coming and have been wanting to put 31" on it without putting on a lift. Have you had any customers that you know up upgrade a trailboss? if so or not.... what would you recommend? including wheels
Can you guys do a 27” ATV tire guide? I’m trying to decide which ones to look at for mixed riding between loose rock, gravel road, hard pack and medium pack. Very light mud every once in a while if my trail floods out from rain.
I live in northern MN. Rides trails and pavement in summer and plow and ice fish in the winter. Which would be the best for that? I'm thinking mega bite I heard Terra bites are bad in snow.
🏆🏆🏆👍🇺🇲🙏 Which are DOT approved? Two tires to consider 1-All Around Tire Interco Sniper 920 Radial Tire. Made in the USA , 10 ply, side biter lugs, very smooth on hard pack and asphalt, and DOT approved. 2- Super ATV Intimidator. 2 inch deep lugs that wrap around the shoulder of the tire, 6 ply rating. Made in USA, Louisiana. Very smooth on hard pack and asphalt. Lug spacing allows mud to clean out without clogging up. Thank you for sharing
Good point, I know the MAXXIS Liberty which come standard on the 2021 Can Am X3 XRC turbo RR are not & are N.H.S. Important to remember that non DOT approved (not highway service/ N.H.S) motocross tires are made with a different tire carcass that cannot withstand the high heat that high speed highway running creates & can result in catastrophic failure of the tire. Non DOT approved or N.H.S side by side tires would be no different.
@@dustyfarmer Important points. Most ATV/UTV tire manufacturers only offer " low pressure tires" that are illegal for highway use, also. So, besides safety considerations, legal considerations in stress where you may be desiring to be street legal, you can run afoul of the law.
It would be nice if you listed the durometer for each tire on your website to use when trying to order tires you don't show in the video. Im looking for a truck style tire for General xp 1000 4 seater, that will last the longest out here in northern Arizona. I" currently have BFG KM3 and they could not hold up out here . they are much to soft of a compound. I drive this almost daily around my property and to and from town about 16 miles round trip so half the time is on road. Also due to the amount of volcanicrock out here, tires get tore up quickly here. Do you have anything tat meets my needs in a 32 "on a 15" rim? if so please share. thanks
...with method 409 bead grippers the combo is very light, yet tough! bead locks are nice for some, but the 409 bead grippers only weigh 14 lbs and have proven to hold the tire bead on the wheel in tough conditions. I just ordered the terabite/method 409 combo together which is approx. 48 lbs per tire/wheel.

Hmm... Is there any tires that actually have mud lugs??? And side lugs? These all look like golf cart tires and don't work where I live.... I know people with the carnivores here and I end up going around them with my silverbacks to winch them out when they're stuck...
Thousands of hours designing the Terrabite? Really??? Just a knock-off of the Kanati Mongrel. Most of the Tusk tires are just close copies of existing tires from other manufacturers.
