Hey, like the videos and channel. I'm looking for a grill cover for the MB Sprinter vans, it would be used in the extreme cold to help maintain operating temperature. I haven't found one yet, have you seen anything? They are easy to find for trucks, just not vans.

Thanks! Good question, do you live in Canada or Alaska? Unfortunately, no one is producing them because MB manual states that covers blocking the grill shouldn’t be used. Every once in a while, you see one on eBay made in china. My understanding is that the turbo intake is in front of the grill and apparently it also needs air flow when DPF is doing a regen. If you have a snorkel, then the turbo is a no-issue, but I wouldn’t entirely block it off. Some people temporarily created one out of cardboard for those few times when one needs to drive below -30 Celsius / -20 Fahrenheit. In Utah, near Park City, I’ve driven in -15 Fahrenheit many times without issues, no cover needed. 👍

Hello, awesome video! can you please tell me which roof rack your van has?

Sure! It’s a custom made Front Runner roof rack. I made it using the universal cab model, then shortened by 2” and added 8 plus nuts to bolt it to the roof. The tricky part is that the roof curves towards the front so you can’t add the usual rail tracks; fortunately Front Runner factory legs for the rack are adjustable to accommodate the curve. 👍
