Draw Better & SAVE Money! Realistic Pencil Portrait Drawing Tutorial

‪@BMDPortraits‬ Shares this new drawing technique and experiment that guaranties better portrait and might save you lots of money from buying expensive papers, pencil and art materials. Why not try to improvise, in this case trying to make my own paper and surface to draw on. Thank you for the response. A little confusion on my question about how many coats. When you apply the gesso to the board do you paint it on the board 1 time? Or do you paint the gesso on more than once?

Thank you. Your art is phenomenal. I just started drawing 6 months ago and been trying the verdaccio technique since I like how your pastel paintings look. It worked for me once lol. I tend to be heavy handed and really need to go lighter. I really don’t know anything about color theory other than the basics. I’m trying to teach myself when to use cool colors and warm colors and where. I find it fascinating that you can look at a picture and find all the colors. I see some when they really stand out but struggle. That is why I really take interest in watching real artists doing tutorials like yourself. Keep up the great work because us beginners learn a ton from people like you.
