Your comments about the mid range and the slow roll off bass was spot on.
I've just got mine about 6 hours ago. I've not connected it to my proper system yet. I'm having too much fun powering it from a powerbank with a super short USB cable and running headphones off it using the supplied adapter to play tunes from my phone.
It's too unwieldy for use anywhere further than the garden but it is portable. A 3 inch velcro strap would hold the powerbank under the Auris just fine.
That’s dope!
Hey man, thanks for the review, do you know if it is safe to power the bluMe Pro with a USB-PD adaptor, such as chargers for newer laptops that use USB-C
Oh man, I don’t know. I generally stick to the supplied cable when in doubt.
Hi, thank you for the review. However had a quick question. Can I connect this unit to my equalizer? I have a marantz equalizer connected to Yamaha AX-590 amplifier.
I have no idea.
What is the sound characteristic of Blume Pro especially on Vocal ? Will it be too digital and punchy, or warmth and sweet ?
To be honest, I can’t tell.
It's really balanced, more warm than it is sharp. I find cheaper ones sharp. Probably because of the quality of the built in DAC.
@@guitarguy764 well said!
@@guitarguy764 Very Nice, thanks your comments. Have you compared the BlueMe Pro with another preamp branded ARYLIC S50 Pro+, which is also has ESS9023 Sabre Dac. ?
@@terenceleechris2174 unfortunately no, I've tried a 1Mii branded one which was bright sounding.
Our intention was to use the Pro version of this product in our rentable meeting / performance space, to allow short-term users the ability to stream content from their devices to our high-quality in-house audio playback system. The device works reasonably well in our 1400 sq ft main gallery. BUT there's no way to authorize or de-authorize users - ANYBODY wandering around nearby can freely associate and play back over the system - even passers-by on the sidewalk! This situation is completely unacceptable for obvious reasons.
It can't be that difficult for Auris to add dead-standard security that's normally available in any car - you have to enter a unique 4-digit code to associate. Hopefully they will do that. Otherwise, pro users such as ourselves will have to look elsewhere.
I wish I had that in my car! My kia keeps defaulting to my wife’s phone and contacts!!! 😂
Excuse me but the radio ... AM is a thing 190 days a year for baseball. How do you get the games? TV ? Lmao. WTF?
Oh, I don’t watch baseball… or any team sport for that matter…
Just keep it in mind that China made it.
Just keep in mind that it doesn’t matter.
