This is a great comparo review, simultaneous testing and driving assessment, plus basically adding to the fact that there's 2 people to actually assess it while driving and giving their thoughts on each car's details and specs.

Will the RAV4 Hybrid survive Manila's flooded street during heavy downpour, say 3/4th of the wheel's height?

I'm not sure about the GRS but the Rav4 has an ECO Mode which saves more fuel consumption.

I love Rav 4. Very smooth ride , ease of driving, fuel efficient and just enough size for female. They lasts a long time with regular maintenance.

Seen other auto reviews and most of them says that it has 7 to 10 year life span and the price ranges from P100k to P150k.

Don't mistake rugged for dated. For a 2.4m car that dashboard car is not rugged, but dated.

Rav4 no contest! I mange to import rav4 2011 V6 in the philippines and fortuner as a toyota start up suv eat dust! No surprise! Rav4 is like a bmw x3 more luxurious than fort thats why you rarely see a rav4 and x3 on the road unlike the fort, everest and montero! For a mass suv!

are you sure about 178hp for rav4? my 2023 Toyota Rav4 Limited is 204hp.. btw, im here in USA.

    • @milopichu

178 for the engine then additional hp for the motors. They probably forgot about the total system horsepower.

it’s also odd that this rav4 don’t have the new infotaiment system which is i think standard here in US like the 8inch screen and 10 inch screen. in my case I have the JBL screen and speakers.

Come on guys, if you have the slightest intention to go off road then skip the RAV4. The RAV4 shines best in stop-&-go city traffic for its fuel economy, plus it is "sexier" (if that's something important to you). Otherwise, the fortuner still holds its value to the majority of Filipinos.
