Dogs are incredible creatures, they are family. I get so annoyed with people treating dogs like this, if you can't care for the dog's needs, don't have one! Simple. They don't deserve to have a dog. Thank you Marybeth for making this little angel more comfortable x

I’d have the owners stand there and watch what the poor thing has to go through to get that matting off. Maybe they think it shaves off easily. I agree that it’s ridiculous that they don’t take better care of their pet. All they have to do is brush her regularly to avoid the matting. If they don’t want her then let someone else have her!
Agree on people, in general, just not realizing matting does not come off without a fight. That information needs to be put out there!

I'm a dog groomer I love ❤️ so love all your videos & the good work you do for dogs I had a miniature schnauzer on my table that I had to groom he was worse then that dog he had a ton of matting it almost made me cry cause after I did it I wanted to take him home with me I felt sorry for the dog I hate when owners don't take good care of their pets it's makes me mad

You know it's so wonderful to see your videos and what you do for a lot of these craters. Fat are so wonderful. I have a dog that was being neglected as a puppy. You just don't only like 2 and a 1/2 months and I'm gonna tell you. I spent a lot of money to take care of him. But, you know what cause he had a lot of issues, but he's doing okay now and he's gonna be 2 years old in May and I taken to a groomer's not too far away where I live and I've take him every 4 weeks, make sure that every. Being is taking care and I'm make sure that he's comfortable and he is very loved here by me and our cat Abby. And they get along really good, very close. Both of them are very close anyway. Thank you for sharing this video with us. Some people don't realize the trauma that it puts on this dog as I call them critters. This is just neglect severe neglecan you please?

I remember the first time you groomed this fur baby and the owners said they had just rescued her, What dirty liars, What they should have said was" They just neglected her " Report them snd save this poor baby, Great video too 👍
I started the video thinking I am lucky that I haven't had dogs with long enough fur that they needed grooming. Then I remembered I actually had two dogs with long fur. An Irish setter mix and a Golden retriever mix. Lots of fur! But we would just sit down in front of the tv every few days and brush them, take care of any mats that were starting, make sure their collars weren't tight, etc. No big deal! It was just a part of spending time with them. So I'm thinking this family doesn't spend much time with her. The poor girl is probably so sad and lonely.

I know you would have groomed this sweet dog for nothing if they had spoken to you. It is heart breaking to see her come back in this condition again. Good on you for reporting the person responsible for allowing this to happen again. I sincerely hope that they do something about this poor little girl. I remember watching this way back and being upset and angry at her condition. I also remember being upset for you to. We know she will be in the same state by now and that Animal Welfare will have done nothing. In retrospect I would collect that cage of hair you removed from her and taken it to Animal welfare with you. Then back to the dogs owners, not in a bag or a box just all rolled together so they could actually see the extent of matting. Would they do this with their own hair... I think not. When you see cases like this we understand 'burnout' as a groomer... Bless you for helping this little sweetie
Good grief! I have 2 shih tzus, a Havanese and a Yorkie….NEVER would i let them get so unkept! I cant do it myself ( i tried) but every three months, they get the spa treatment….cut, bath, etc and come out gorgeous! Aussie Pet Mobile, cause we dont live close to you!

Sweet lady, I am so happy that I have found your site...I really respect and appreciate all your hard work to help these fur babies. The only thing I am not liking is how you keep explaining what you are doing. I don't think you hurt them in anyway. You are the groomer, you shouldn't have to explain yourself to anyone. I respect every effort that you put in to make sure that they are comfortable. Keep up the great work, and I will keep watching!!!

Awww man I feel bad for this poor girl. She must have been so hot and so uncomfortable for so long. Thank you for taking care of these matted and not cared for (properly) dogs. She’s a very sweet girl. And even gave you little kisses to say thank you. I know it must be hard to give her back to the owners.

This breaks my heart. I cannot bear to see a sweet pup being neglected like this. If they don't want this dog I would gladly take her. I am just outside San Antonio Texas. I would be there in a heart beat to take care of her.

I think you’re doing the right thing by reporting them. They’re the type of people that never need to own a dog in the first place. It hurts my heart and I know it does yours to see this pretty little animal neglected. So go and report them and you’ll have all of your followers backing you up.

Wow 2yr crazy. And my mother has two dogs that need to be groomed on a regular basis, and she feels bad when they dont go but every 8 weeks.

Poor little girl. I just don't understand why people have a dog if they cant take care of it. I was a Mom of 3 kids. When I got a divorce I got the kids and the dogs, one of which was a Canadian spits. I couldn't afford to go to a groomer or even clippers. She got a bath at least once a month. I brushed her every other day even when I had 2 jobs. I had scissors and cut her hair in the summer because of the heat. I loved both my dogs and didn't want to give them away. Once a year they went to the vet for shots. There is no excuse for this type of abuse!

If you're not going to give the poor baby a haircut, then at least brush them regularly-- like daily!! Bathe them after brushing and keep it up. I know grooming can be expensive. I had my dogs groomer teach me what I needed to learn about everything. I still took her in 3 times a year for that special Miniature Schnauzer Cut. My baby got better and more patient with me the more consistent I was. Would you not bath or cut your child's hair regularly???
Poor sweet dog. If the reason they didn’t get this dog groomed is because they didn’t have money they could have gone to any groomer and try to work out a solution .. one time I went 3 months in between my cockapoos groom and I felt terrible . Meanwhile my dog was barely long in comparison .. Just blows my mind people can be so negligent and cruel.

I like to watch the grooming and I've watched several of your videos. Other than the matting this dog isnt unhealthy. Maybe the owner doesn't know how to keep this from happening and cant afford a grooming all the time. It's hard for people to ask for help and this is good reason. The truth is you don't know anything about the owners. In every video I've watched you've complained about the condition of the animal. Isn't that the entire reason they are bringing them to you? If I was a dog owner I'd never bring them to you after hearing all the stuff you say. You said you never report but you would in every case if you thought they would do something about it. That's all you've talked about in every video. Some cases need to be reported but just because an animal is matted doesn't mean they are being mistreated. You just have no idea what's happening in someone's household. You think the people are wealthy because they live in a good neighborhood, that's just ignorance talking and isnt always the case. You're good at your job but stop being so judgy and stop complaining when the person bringing them to you is trying to make it right. It's not a good look for your business.
