Clutch Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) Installation Tech Tips

Had issues installing a clutch Concentric Slave Cylinder (CSC) in the past? This video covers off general installation do's and don'ts which is relevant to most modern vehicles.

Im a bit confused that the csc will be damaged if you compress it by hand due to the friction associated with it having no fluid in it but surely when you reattach the transmission the csc will then be compressed by the pressure plate?
Should we fill the csc with fluid before installing it so that when you mount the transmission back onto the engine that first compression of thr csc by the pressure plate isn't a dry one? Help a comfused guy out lol

You bleed the csc before you refit the gearbox. Once the box is back in refit the hydraulic clutch hose and gently bleed as normal.
