A night out starting at midnight in Khaosan Road, Bangkok. For this video I've changed things up a bit, there is minimal editing and I've kept in a lot of the more gritty footage that would normally be cut out.

My gym mate took me to Khaosan Road after one of my fights and mann it was alot going on. My first and probably last time going there. after living in south Thailand for 4 months when I was the only foreigner it was WAY too many foreigners lol. seemed like a big tourist trap. everyone was trynna sell me scorpions to eat/suits/gas baloons to inhale(drugs) My gymmate got stupid wasted drunk so I just kinda watched out for him until it was taxi time. probably a interesting place to party if your into that kind of thing but not for me I guess.

1st place I stayed when I came to BKK was Soi Rambuttri. Much more chilled out than Khaosan. Also, I loved the large Chang beers for 60-80 bhat! 2 years on things are still the same despite everyone moaning about the changes

I’ve been married to a Thai, and going to Thailand for over 30 years. Yet, only last month did I go to Khaosan Road. Granted, it was mid-evening so it seemed very tame to me. Kind of a Disneyfied/college spring break version of places like Soi Nana and Soi Cowboy. Case in point, I’ve never seen anyone dragged dead drunk down the road in either of those places. Yet, to each their own, if you had a good time, good for you. Everyone should return from Thailand with a story. Even if they’re not sure that even they can remember it. :-)
Wow I can’t believe 😱 Kaw Sarn road has changed ! !! In 2007 - 2010 me and my friends from uni always go there to hang out at some chill bar drinking and talking sometimes making friend with people from other country. It was more friendly and nice with a lot of tourists on the street but wasn’t that much compared to nowadays like in this video. Of course Kaw Sarn road is tourist place and more likely for backpacker that is why not much freelancer ( that I can see or it was some back there but I did not know because me and my friends more likely to have fun with our self and did not care what was around) I did go back to Kawsarn road in 2016 and I feel my very old lol but I kind of like the hemisphere of old Kaw Sarn road more I guess now it’s too noisy and such a mess on the street plus back there no African freelancers after club closed . I still love some small restaurant that hiding in small road which I found one small Italian restaurant full of tasty foods and some small bar that got nice drink and good music. Anyway I’m Thai people who living in Australia but seriously every time I go home to visit my family in Bangkok me and my friends still caching up in Kaw Sarn road and we like to find some good little place that hiding near busy street like little gem ☺️ I think this video just more like total look on the street but you will like it or not it’s depend on your purpose. Just bring out your adventure side maybe you will some good little place which made you have a good time like us.

Great footage of 'Drago' BKK 112. Everytime I've been in Thailand every fight has been alcohol related. One of the worst was when I was in Pattaya and a Yank bashed to death an Aussie in Soi 6. Thanks for sharing.
Most of the people who comment never been there. Assumption ... Khaosan Road is fun as hell, good music, festive people, bars, tasty street food, outdoor massages, + many business ladies and men "working", chill vibe...again...see drunk people as in ANY PLACE - stay clear and keep enjoying life. BTW - been there 9 times this year (plus all over Asia), so yeah I know. Just go and keep your senses LEVEL. You'll have a great time.

My girlfriend wanted to go as she's local, and hasn't been because it's a tourist spot... We didn't stay long.
There's an up side, as a couple rooftop bars have liquor buckets for about 300, and are a reasonable value for a tourist area.

Farangutan just hop in a tuk tuk and ask for a massage boom boom and let the ride begins! (Tell the driver to go to the massage parlour with alot of stairs before going in) price range depends the time ur going but should be in between 1200-2000tbh , enjoy

The Hotel "Unico Express @ Sukhumvit" is now changing to a new hotel called "Anya".
It is not guest friendly anymore, you have to pay 600 THB for guest and night. Overall it was a very dissapointing stay there.
