Street food, alligator meat, deep-fried scorpions and weed are sold here. Cannabis has been decriminalized in Thailand since June 2022. This may be re-criminalise if their winning political party forms the next government. Join me for a walking tour of Khaosan Road. Bring your ear-plugs!

Thank you my friends for keeping in touch 😀
So full of colours and life! Great video, thanks for sharing 👍👍👍
A very lively place to go with friends. Thanks for watching.
Wow, it's so much more busy now than when I went last year. Looks even more fun!
If you go again, visit the next road, Rambuttri Alley. It's quieter, there's lots of food with great ambience.
You never failed to amazed me yet , your video quality is always clean and on point am glad the day I made my self apart of your channel by subscribing Keep up the good work my friend your very persistent so I know success is just around the corner waiting on you see you soon again ❤️🌷🌺🤝
Thank you for your encouraging words, my friend 🙏
Bangkok so happening sia,
thanks for sharing bro
There’s lots of food and shopping here. Very nice place for a holiday.
Beautiful Bangkok nightlife ❤
Thanks for watching my friend.
It was already a center of nightlife when I visited many years ago..thanks for the reminder...
Many years ago, weed is underground. Now it's legal and openly sold.
@@SingaporeCityWalks That I would not expect in SG...given the harsh sentences for drugs (probably the hard ones nowadays only)..?
khaosan a very busy nightlife street.
Bangkok is very happening my friend!
Very nice walking tour... I like seeing people out enjoying themselves 👍👍 (Life In Flip Flops channel 🇨🇦)
This is the place to be if you love drinks and loud music. Bangkok’s nightlife is very interesting.
The astronaut on the ceiling says it all about Khao San Road! 😂😂
Most people are unaware of this cool place as it's in a side lane. It's quieter and I like the atmosphere here with the astronaut 😀
Wow did I just see an alligator 🐊😅 the night market looks so vivid and busy. It’s a popular spot for tourists and party lovers. Interesting bug snacks 😄
Yes, that's alligator and bugs. I'm not that adventurous to try these. Leila, I've been busy with work in Bangkok. Now back in Singapore. I'll keep up with your videos soon. I'll be in the Land of Smiles again in 2 weeks time.
@@SingaporeCityWalks no worries I know you are always busy traveling and filming 👍🏼💜 enjoying watching your Thailand films. So many delicious food there and people are so friendly 😀
What day is this? Nothing is happening here on the days im here
It's recorded on a Saturday night. This street gets crowded after 9pm. What time were you there?
@@SingaporeCityWalks is it still busy 7 nights a week or only on the weekend?
Same !! No girls anymore, all gone
@@SingaporeCityWalks ahh ok, i was there weeknights, but on wednesday (last night i was there) that’s when i saw the street club! But unfortunately not so crazy as there was alcohol ban 😅
Completely dead compared to this when I was there a few weeks ago - albeit not on a Sat night. Really disappointing
very nice
Thank you for your nice comment.
Im there in about 2-3 Days is it still worth it to go there? We visit Bangkok only for 4 days and have to drive 35 min.
The vibes and energy is worth the experience. You will also see cannabis openly and legally sold on the street. But not for long as the new government has vowed to re-criminalise this. You can also visit the parallel street called Rambuttri Road. This is a quieter road with many shops selling food without blasting your ears with loud music. Good to go to Rambuttri Road around 8pm on Fri to Sat for food, then move over to Khaosan for the full blast experience at 10pm. Taxi costs around 200THB from Sukhumvit, Asok, Terminal 21.
It was a happy tour, be happy😍
Yes, a happy tour. Thanks for your comment.
RIP. Good old days.
Thank you for watching 🙏
@@SingaporeCityWalksI like you 💋
Khaosan road 🥰❤👍
Thanks for watching.
its weeds heaven❤
This weeds heaven will be gone by the end of 2024. The new Thai government will make it illegal once again.
So vibrant there...wish we have this kind of party street in Singapore...19:11
There are too many restrictions in Singapore.
its completely changed
Thanks for watching
Just tourist hang out area.
Don't think too much.
True, true...
how you didn't get a copyright strike?
What copyright matter did I infringe that deserves a strike?
@@SingaporeCityWalks i am not complaining..i am just asking as i am new to vlogging... as you walk in khaosan street there are some songs playing in the background from the clubs.. i did the same and RUclips sent me a copyright notice..
@@desiinsiam Oh I see. This is what I do. I usually record more than what I need. For Khaosan Road, I would record the walk twice and splice together the sections that I like. Where the music is recognisable, I will replace the ambient sounds with parts from other sections of the video. I would then upload the video and see whether RUclips will send copyright notice. If I receive copyright notice, I will re-edit the offending parts and replace with ambient sounds or delete that part.
If my 2nd time upload receive copyright notice again, I will replace the ambient sounds again. You need to be careful and patient. Good Luck!
@@SingaporeCityWalkswow you are so kind and helpful... i subscribed already.. your videos look great.. thank you 👍
@@desiinsiam Thank you for subscribing. My channel’s content are mostly from Singapore. I also post my overseas walks when I travel. I love travelling.
Everyone looks so bored. Sadly they are 50 years too late.
Thanks for watching.
I am here right now, i dont like bangkok! It smells not good and its very loud! For one day its ok but not more, and there are more men
smell like weed?
@@elwynll weed, vehicles, too much food, everything
Weed will be re-criminalised soon by the new government. The outskirts of Bangkok is nice. You can visit places Ayuthaya or Amphawa Floating Market. I spent 2 nights at Amphawa at a local guest house by the river. It was wonderful. I made 2 videos on Amphawa: ruclips.net/video/yLDnc0EMDh8/видео.htmlsi=rHBqFDo9Gk5HQhvW and ruclips.net/video/NKpldgNtrxU/видео.htmlsi=18jUdANOtk_KxFSY
@@haroldhall1517 If you are looking for offbeat paths, Talad Noi is one such place that I intend to visit on my future trip to Bangkok. Northern Thailand is wonderful if you like nature. Pai, Mon Jam and Sukhothai are some of the places I visited. I will be posting videos on these places in early 2024.
Bangkok is fk great
