My daughter and her family of four have just come back from Thailand visiting Bangkok and Phi Phi island. They have enjoyed themselves thoroughly, the food was great but eventually, they missed home-cooked meals.
Truly that Thailand is amazing country.Not only with temples, food, culture preservation and kind and humble people. ❤❤❤

Bangkok is my 2nd favourite city that I have visited after KL in Malaysia. I did the river cruise during the day and night, also visited the main temples (Wat Pho, Wat Arun, Grand Palace, Wat Traimit, Wat Saket and a few other temples), Chinatown, Lumphini Park, Asitique Riverfront, King Mahanakhon Sky Walk, top of Baiyoke Tower, a few Halal markets and a few mosques too. I didn't bother with the floating market, Soi Cowboy and Khaosan Road - I've avoided them. A day trip to Ayutthaya is worth a mention too. ICONSiam was being built when I last went to BKK

Just goes to prove the USA is so behind the times compared to other places on Earth. Vegas is barely even as exciting as Bangkok. When I was there back in 2011. I was surprised at how big of a City Bangkok was
Vegas is nowhere close to as exciting as Bangkok, lol. Only comparable city in the US is NYC, but still Bangkok is more fun. That's why Bangkok is the most visited city in the world for the last 10 years.

good take on bangkok. the streets and the mall. but i am not really sure if Terminal 21 should be on the list of malls of visit. instead i would recommend Emporium. It has more variety and an amazing food court with luxury cinema experience.

My second trip in Bangkok was with Malaysia in May 2018. This year in 2023, my third trip will be Bangkok with Singapore in Nov-Dec 2023.

Maha Nakhon Sky Walk looks almost exactly like Shibuya Sky in Tokyo. I was there last month and everything looks so similar. Were they designed by the same architect?
I think it's just the same concept, by the way, Mahanakorn Skywalk in Bangkok was opened in December 2016 while Shibuya Sky in Tokyo was opened in November 2019.

Fruit is good, no poison or anything. Recommend washing the fruits thoroughly, and water is fine.
If you go to this beautiful city (Bangkok) you have to be careful to one thing: Around you can find tuk-tuk drivers that for a really small amount they bring you around(so you say okay let's go). At a certain point of the trip, they bring you to a travel agency(okay it can be useful you think). In these agencies, they charge you a lot of money for nothing. They make you believe that they are going to give you a big service but that is false. Yakkoo travel is one of this agencies
