I get out in the wilderness on my kayak and spend some time processing what has happened, pray, and ask God what I need to do show others that the situation I was in cannot beat me, only shape me to be stronger for my friends and family.

Great food for thoughtt Clay.I hit up the range when I feel stressed...me and a few of my Military buddies go and let off some steam in a legal & safe manner.

These are amazing poems. I have notes in my phones from 10 years ago.. It hurts to read them but I'd also write. Not so much poems. But it was very poetic in a way.
I feel as though writing thoughts gets them out of your head even a little and helps in so many ways

That’s how I felt. Get it out and put the feelings to words.

    Very talented poet sir.
I wish I knew how to deal with trauma. To be honest, I bottle it up and file it away. I don't deal with it and move on like all is fine.
    It's not healthy, I know.

If you have figured out a way for that to work for you then you’re doing it right. We are all different and handle our crap in different ways. So whatever keeps you going man!
