I am a german mum and I made sure my kids have plenty of books. 😂 It's also the first thing I check when visiting someone. 🙈
I can feel the immense amount of love coming from her
I love it! The universal truth of MOM. It seems so confrontational, but it’s panic that they are no longer the absolute authority in your life.
“THE COMPOST” as she zooms towards you 😂
I had a German friend & this is so accurate! She got stuff DONE, though. Have to give her that!
LMAO your videos have literally helped me understand my German boss down to the all black and turtleneck she wears no matter the weather, mindset etc.. literally so iconic. My boss is also your mom 😭 Danke! 💀🙏
These women are always exhausting and always right
I love the criticism of the neighbor's groceries after the overly friendly greeting.😂
As a 22 year old German girl, I can confirm this is going to be me in about 15 years :D let's drink some wine to that .
Same.
Apparently we don't have any 😅
Cheers, Schwester
I cannot believe how many of these videos are just like my own mum. She's British, but apparently the 6 years she lived in Germany had a lasting impact.
My mum's the same, except she's African lmao
germans at heart
Denmark is/was very similar in this respect. 80-90% of this is me with my kids whenever I don’t manage to keep it in check 😱 and my mum was 100% like this.
Annabelle Liebenzeiter. My German neighbour, a Jew who survived the Holocaust. She was the closest thing I had to a grandmother, and This totally reminded me of her. Tough as nails, but very kind.
I love your Mother.
😂😂😂! Actually I grew up in Switzerland but one thing I noticed and I took for granted is the interaction with all the neighbors. Everyone talks to each other and if anyone for example is sick or needs help all most neighbors know and just show up at your door with healthy homemade food or they at least genuinely ask how you doing!
The good wife references take me out everytime
Especially after her scolding her for having a TV 😂 amazing
mama has good taste
I remember the first time a German mom cooked me a meal at home. She took apart the insides of her oven to completely clean and wipe everything down. My mouth was open. We clean our oven once or twice a year. Her house was spotless. German moms could and should rule the world. 😊
My best friend for 38 years was German - she passed last year - I just heard this entire skit in her voice 😁 thank you for such fun memories. ❤
My mother died in 1985 just as I turned 15. Sometimes I think I can’t remember her but I love how you bring her back to life! Mostly with your swimming never getting your hair wet 😂 Thank you ❤🥰❤️
This character is truly one of the greatest of all time, cheers me up every time 😂
Literally my fave youtube character ever! Aside from italian dad 😂😂😂
I just want to sit and listen to this over and over. I MISS MY MOM
She is really growing on me. At first I thought the editing was choppy - and it is - but deliberately and brilliantly so. Why show her finishing a sentence when we know very well what’s coming? Makes it all the funnier. I’ve seen 3 or 4 of these videos and they just get better and better. Kudos!
I literally can't get enough of these you should have a tv show !
My father full German, my mother full Norwegian….I didn’t stand a chance….lacking in hugs or any demonstration of love….but everything was super organized, even my father’s shop….his building tools all neatly arranged, the smell of Pine Sol reminds me of home and Saturday cleaning….they never threw things away, but it was a completely organized hoard. 😂
I don't know any German women. But I love these videos. Like, I could watch a whole movie or show w this character lol
I had a friend in high school who was from Germany. That's my only point of reference but it makes me assume I love German ppl lol
I know two. It’s spot on. They are very direct and straightforward.
I am a German woman. You still get posture- and vegetable-shamed far into adulthood.
I have a German professor. I’ve taken three of her classes now && this is cracking me up. The cadence, the accent, the subtle jabs. Ahhhh
Seems like " Sit up straight" is a universal thing for mothers all around the world.
Just based on these, you are so blessed to have these parents 😭 and even more so to have the talent to perform these shorts
I like this character your portraying, because it is teaching me how a mother is supposed to act. ❤😢
Laura German mother is AWESOME! You do such a believable job portraying her I forget she’s not real. She’s SO REAL!!
It's an impression of her own mother! So you can take heart in knowing that this is as real as a "character" gets!
i forget her parents are not the same woman in a black turtleneck and a white shirt lol
