This is one of Ireland legends and I can say his daughter is also a great singer
I am 77 and have never heard Finbar Furey in my life. I found him on you tube singing "Willie Mcbride" with Christy Dignam. The tears ran down my face, it was emotional. Since then I have been watching and listening to Finbar and Christy as much as I can find. This song with Aine is excellent, her voice as as good as any American Country singer or better. I dont know what it is but I feel as if they dont have super star pretensions even though they are Superstars. Thanks for the music, I love it.

I have always considered finbar to be the greatest Arstist Ireland ever produced musically, and it is a great pleasure to see him presenting his beautiful daughter on stage with him , who I am sure would be on par as a solo Artist with the very great Joan Baez, she sounds so much like she has the same qualities as this mega Artist, We should certainly see much more of her in this Vain and I am sure Finbar has the contacts to see this happen, Love you both Joe mcnulty

I discovered the Furey's by accident a couple of years ago, and I've had the pleasure of discovering all their wonderful music here on RUclips--I'm especially fond of Finbar's version of Sweet Sixteen that he sings with Imelda May. Finbar's tribute to his mother (I remember you singing this song, Ma) is my favorite song of all time--it perfectly captures my own mother. May they prosper and thrive--the world desperately needs this music! It soothes the heart in these troubled times.

The best night out I ever had was at a "Furey" concert in Wolverhampton many years ago. I took someone with me who had never been to any form of live entertainment. He still talks about that wonderful first experience. Truly talented musicians and singers all.

Lovely to see father and daughter singing so beautifully together and the pride in his face for his daughter is clear to see. Played this many times and showed it to my daughters with two different results, oh well you cant win them all.
