'I'll Take A Glass' is the 3rd single from forthcoming new album, ‘Moments In Time’, releasing Friday 29 September 2023 coinciding with Finbar's 77th Birthday. The 1st single 'Blue Jewel In The Sky' was released in 2020, but Covid19 delayed the release of the album.

I’ve been listening to his music all my life and I’m an old lady now. OMG! Where have all the years gone?

Bought this man a pint in The Glenegale’s Hotel in Kilanery after a gig whilst on my Honeymoon 30 years ago. Legend then now he’s even better with age . ❤

Grew up listening to Finbarr Furey his voice is amazing, listening to this song today as a family member who passed away last week had told me to listen to this song after attending his brothers funeral 💔 and now we mourn his lost only 4 months after his brother died 💔 Tony this one is for you bro xx fly high 💔

Me too, I had a brief chat with Finbar after a show in Southend on sea in the 90s.
I dont know the ladies who wrote those beautiful words just above but I want them to know that after the emotion I felt while listening to Finbar I found their comment very moving... I have loved listening to the Fureys ever since I started visiting Ireland, that is for 30 years!but seeing him now and hearing his lovely and moving lyrics brought tears to my eyes, and so did your comments ladies...there's no frontier for emotion (l'm French and writing from France)and for the sadness of seeing time flying...yes, where have all those years gone? But we are not old...we have been young for a longer time than some, thats all! Haha...And so has Finbar:)

I have been listening to Finbar during my Breast cancer journey .. I am 67 ..bc in 1992 and 2023 he is the best therapy ever to just to help me relax and keep calm...I have googled everything about the guy ..sweet sixteen i with Imelda is my most loved song ...may he sin to the end of time....would love to hear more with his daughter Aine...

I'm 69 now and music has been a constant in the home. Finbar's music has always been a part of my life. HowI love it when he plays the pipes especially since my Da passed and took his own talent with him.

I hald back the tears. You sure touched me. I grew up on hill. Eleven homes nestled on a cliff. Ten homes were Irish. There are only four feft. My grandparents, my grandmothers, and two others. I can still see them all. Im sure they would love this song.

My dad named me after Finbar and as a 24 year old I can say he’s made some of the best music including his brother I’ve ever gotten to enjoy and listen too. Cheers to the furey brothers
Finbar is also the name of a mythical giant my Irish Grandfather used to tell me about. Finbar the Irish Giant and a Scottish called giant called Joc’ a Not, that “lived the other side of the pond” both argued which of them was the tallest. So, Finbar being a littlest but more cleverer than the Scottish Giant Joc ‘a Not, built up large stones on the Ocean bed and started to walk across them. The Scottish Giant thought Finbar was walking into the Ocean and he himself could not because he was too short. Finbar won the competition, and became crowned as the tallest Giant ever. Please pass this legend on, my grandchildren love it as much as I did.
