I honestly prefered version 3 as it had presets ...and using those presets as starting point, i could further sculpt the sounds respectively
are you sure it didn't have presets and you just have to open the menu differently (browse for the preset file) ... he just looked up an instrument preset and loaded it

From my understanding you only have access to the assistant and that how you can mix and add changes to your mix (elements) but the normal version you have access to everything. Look at their features page that compare the difference
I'm going to keep using Neutron 3 Elements; it seems much more comprehensive and offers more control over all the parameters. The warm, upfront, and balanced modes provide excellent starting points for finding the perfect place for each track in the mix. This new version, instead of incrementing to 4, should be called Neutron Elements Elements.
🔹 could it be that Neutron 4 Elements is a bit more stripped down than Neutron 3 Elements was comparably?
Is it me or they removed a ton of features in elements version 4? I regret my purchase. No more eq and options. How could you make it so much worst?
How do you get it to work it says I need a serial number I can't find it
@@MicReignhaving some problems but I think its active on your computer but you need ilok usb for activation on ilok can’t activate no other way on ilok but check your portal to see if its active. Also must use the assistant to active the mixing of the track or bus
i owned Neutron 3 elements witch had complete tools for mixing; where all those stuff are in this version? Thanks god i paid only 25€ with Ozone 10 and i will look for another channel strip...
It seems like they are really pushing the Audiolens which is great, but the signal chain is also really important to see, as that was the entirety of the previous version. Its not currently on the website either. Has there been any sort of improvements/additions to it for the elements addition?

Looked to me that the biggest difference was that the eq can be dynamic in the versions higher than elements

So whats exactly the difference between ozone 10 and this? Ozone has some more different features, but the overall purpose is the same?
Ozone is a mastering suite. This is designed to be used on individual channels
After reading the comments here, I've decided to not purchase the product. Going backwards from the previous version isn't cool. Whoever in marketing thought it was a great idea should be relieved of their duties.

For clarity: when not trying to match one of your fav sounds, does Neutron 4 just listen to the track you have it working on or does it also listen ALL the tracks in your mix and optimize your current track to sound optimal in the mix?

@AyberkAtik it's just in the individual track. Or if you add it to the track your mastering, it will do it all.

One question: After learning the punch tool is always in middle position. Is the compressor already active in this position?
I'm sorry, but v4 has to be the worst audio product I've ever encountered. It provides zero access to anything that matters. And you can only get to the stuff it does offer by going thru the "assistant" first. This is a product I will literally never, ever use. I bought the Holiday Bundle un-demoed based on such great experiences with iZotope in the past, just hoping for a nice upgrade to v3... But I'm left with wondering what sort of drugs the iZotope staff has been taking to think this thing is actually something useful. I thought maybe the "switches to the detailed view" icon in v4 would expose the tools like in v3, but no, all it does is pull up a stinking commercial to upgrade. And sorry, but the acid test of the actual "processed sound" in this video sounds like complete and utter dog poo, as does the "processed" audio of my own. So much for their A.I. And after decades of buying music software, this is the first time I've ever made negative comments about a product. Much less about a product from a major vendor. That's just how bad this thing is. Fortunately I thought Stratus alone was worth the entire price of the bundle, plus I have v3 (which is a wonderful product that I preload on just about every track in every single project and track template I have), so I'm fine with my purchase in an odd sort of way. But for me, iZotope has completely driven off the cliff with this stupidity of concept, no matter how talented the people making it are. Zero access to the underlying tools like in v3? Are you kidding? Please iZotope do not do something this stupid to the Exponential line!
I just wanted to add my own reference samples to have more tone options (not their presets). Does it do that?

This is a well known sales tactic a lot of plugin developers are using. They give you a version of the plugin that you really want for a cheaper price, but your only allowed limited access unless you upgrade. This is great for song writers that don't care to learn about mixing or mastering and just want their music to sound a little bit better than it already does. However if you are a mixing or mastering engineer you already know that the cheaper plugin versions are just about useless when it comes to finishing a product. The only good thing that comes out of this is that you can get the advanced version at a discount since you already purchased the cheap version.
@@MrMeluckycharms Yeah, i don't appreciate the trend. I'm actually happy w/ the free Audiolens for a quick master, all by itself. Sure, there are some extra steps w/o the 2 other plugins that work w/ it, but it gets me in the ballpark. Don't think I'd ever spend actual money on ai mixing plugins, but mastering is a different animal. Mastering was always specailized, done by mastering engineers... in a mastering room, taylor made for mastering & I'll never be that or have that 😁.
But look! It intelligently mixes with intelligent AI so you can intelligently enhance your mixes to an intelligent level.
I thought there was going to be upgraded EQ features, should hand reviewed before purchase. Oh well it was a discount 🤷🏾♂️
Does Neutron 4 Elements have Sculptor?
Yo. In the previous versions of elements you could access the signal chain, but now it's hidden - WHY?
The Detailed View can be toggled just next to the Assistant view, which allows access to modify individual modules

who is the artist we're listening to?
So we do not have any control about eq or dynamics anymore? Though I generally like what the AI comes up with, but sometimes I would like to have a lttle more control on several settings. 🤔
You can go deep in the chain and do changes, therefore you have to click on the white Box right to the AI icon

Couldn't you just put your eq that came with your daw in front of neutron elements and use that?
My neutron4 elements don't show the sidechain and appears a bit diffetents, why i can't use sidechain in mine? thanks

Never been able 2 use it bcoz of the latency it makes on the track i insert it in! How can i fix this??

When an "audio professional" makes a video, the bass in the video is completely overblown and awful.
Yeah 3 and 2, crap even 1 were far superior, AI doesnt work for everything.
