Amazing Video as usual! #1 no company needs to lie to kick it, and or compete. #2 them motors need to be raised up in someway, I left many notes on the forums before I got sick of being called the 1% and removed my thread. #3 battery needs adjusting for more reliability and longevity over all. No need to push the battery that low, unless the goal is to have all your customers needing to replace the battery. IE: making a product that has areas that fail for more cash later is unacceptable now and was never acceptable. Cant be going Green to save the planet when you are making things that fail on the so called Green product. This hurts the Biz overall and creates more e-waste. Thankfully we have companies out there that are honest and have lifetime parts. I have many tools that if they break the company itself knows it product and themselves thus they can offer a lifetime guarantee. This is not saying that making a cheap product that is known to break should have a lifetime guarantee, as nobody wants to have a lifetime of breaking things that could have been made correct from the start. People know better, so its easy to spot the ones who do not care. Example: I can guarantee my in house skateboards will not break when jumping from 8-10 stair heights. Example: I can guarantee that if one of my boards was to de-lam, I can offer a replacement as the board should not ever de-lam. Example: I can guarantee that my love for skateboarding has nothing to do with money, attention, or ladies.
Thanks for the comment and feedback! I agree with most of your points, I think they need to switch motors and/or change the angle at which the truck mounts to the deck. I think that a super cool solution would be a split angle deck with FWD facing motors. I don't really think there is any issue with the battery personally.
Angle adjustable baseplates have been around for a while in the DIY community, they're really useful for angled decks or for setups where you want to have less angle in the rear.
...And remember! Don't shoot the messenger... Thanks for the review. I really don't care for the beating those motors endured because of the placement. Dunno how many miles before stuff starts acting up? I have an 1 gen Onsra with direct drive and had to switch asap to 120mm Cloudwheels. It's impossible to keep the motors intact.
Totally understandable. I only have so much time, so I couldn't ride it until it broke again (if it broke). Some motors are more durable than others, and in my opinion, these Maytech cans are far inferior to the Flipsky ones. I think Defiant would benefit from changing motor manufacturers in the future to one that offers a thicker motor can.
@@RBEMotion oh actually really good to know thanks! I always use Flipsky (my go to) I do have an extra set of direct drives from Torqueboards and those are very thick and seem durable!
I think that might help a bit with vibrations but the deck is just quite stiff for me so I don't think it would fix it that much. The original deck felt better, but obviously they couldn't keep that, with the breaking issues and whatnot.
It did do quite well, my ankles truly suffered. I'm not sure - I think Acedeck usually has really limited units that get sent out to reviewers, and I don't think I was one of the ones for this board. That's okay though - there will be more boards in the future. Maybe if a local buys one I can borrow it to do a PSPEC rating on it.
Lol yeah luckily I was only riding about 3mph. I heard some weird noise, and kept going slowly, and after about 2 minutes, I heard the motor clunking and stopped to look at it - it's in the thumbnail of the next video, as well as detailed in the review.
Had real high hopes for this board when first seeing it and hearing LHB was part of this brand thought it would be Amazing as he is a OG, But i was way off not heard much positive at all real shame.
Please explain what OG means to you with context. When this board has nothing new to offer than a original boosted board I do not see anything OG about it. To me OG is being real, honest, original, true to form. Which means you can not inflate range, should already know that motors need to not hit the road, etc. The ones who pioneered this learned and figured that out for us. OG is not re-casing a NES then calling it a LES, unless by LES you mean you pay 2024 pricing for LES of a product. A OG would also have to state that in the product description, as in you can buy this for $5 but Im going to charge $10. Also then you think of the Above it would remove you from being a OG and just being a A$$hole to the community you called friends.
@@NullBlox There from the start/ old school builder. You have the wrong meaning of OG. You got some good skating skills tho bro like your stuff on the ramps with your esk8.
Yeah I know what you mean, LHB really was a pioneer in our sport, and one of the first companies besides Psychotiller that made completes for people. It is a shame that some of the decisions made on this board didn't work out the best. It's still a super cool board but has some flaws for sure.

Nice Board and gear Truck with this kind of angle adjustable i never seen this bevor.

I wonder if padded grip tape would help with the comfort. Personally, I think the deck is pretty flex.

*Decent range*
🤙🏽⚡️🤟🏽⚡️👌🏽
Yeah came out pretty good!
That display is amazing. Wish I could add that to my board but I’m sure that is esc specific
The DaVega is pretty sweet! You can put it on and VESC board, the creator of it came out with an even cooler new version as well.
@@RBEMotion oh sweet! Will look into it now
Dang just ordered an N1 upgrading from the s3 and I can't wait to be able to go like 20 miles on my board!!!
Oh dude the difference will be crazy! Hope you enjoy.
Not a bad range to be fair. I wonder if you will get a chance to ride the Acedeck X3 gear drive🤔

The motor snapped off last time?? Were you ok?

@@gnrriffs I can agree with that! LHB has been in this for a long long time and does deserve a large amount of respect. ;)
