What up yall! Thanks for watching. Sorry about the audio at the beginning, my mic fell off my helmet. Won't happen again - this is actually the first video I recorded with the full face, so I was adjusting to that. If you want to skip the quiet audio, go to around 4:30 and it's fixed from then on. Sidenote, upon further inspection, the issue I mentioned with the drivetrain seems to be a busted motor. Will report in more detail for full review
So do I! Great stuff. Yeah, of course. That's part of my job as an honest reviewer - gotta tell them where things need to be fixed. In the full review, hopefully I'll be able to report back on what they've done to fix the issues I encountered.
@@RBEMotion Awesome, look forward to the full review. Maybe, try the dad bods as the motors do look very low to the ground and because i have them lol😁
@@skfunk4550 I've actually enjoyed the boas more than the dadbods because they catch road paint lines less. Was thinking of putting on the Mad 105s tho
⚡🤩🤩⚡ *Stunnin board, made by a legend in esk8!* your audio isn't as clear at the start as your usual videos 🤔 Love their baseplate angle options 🤙🏼 Interestin choice to make the enclosure out of urethane.
Yeah I know, the first 4 mins are not as high quality as normal. I did my best in post but it was not top tier. Stupid mic fell off my helmet and was just dangling in the air for the first bit lol
Thanks for making this review video. I really like the look of this board for sure but the riding experience on the urethane wheels while at ESK8 CON did not match the look. Perhaps those metal 5 inch wheels by Hoyt St would bring thing to another level and match the silver metal aesthetic and some fine tuning in f the truck angles front and rear. Part selections for this build are top notch. Cheers 🎉
Thanks for watching! I somewhat agree about the urethane. I've been accustomed to pneumatics and their grip for so long that it does make me more hesitant to hop on the urethane train again, but they can still be pretty fun if you have good enough roads. I'm curious about those wheels as well and will hopefully get to test that in the future.
This board looks pretty sick w/ it's low profile, just not sure how practical the board would be on most streets, looks like the clearance.....must feel so much different to ride a board that low to ground tho.👍
The clearance of the enclosure and whatnot is just fine. The motors tho when at the 36 degree adjustment, pretty close. Same with the GD. The GD are pretty strong though, I've seen some super beat up and working fine. I think you would have similar issues with belt as well tho, so it's tough. I suspect if you planned to always run it in the 36 degree spot, maybe you could angle up the motors a little bit. Can't remember how much adjustment the bn drives have
It definitely does make more sense in terms of price since it's built here. Still waiting for a new unit to finish my testing with it though. Haven't heard anyone else really reporting on how their units are doing lately!

Love the look of the board. Appreciate the feedback you giving to Defiant as it will just help to make it even better. 😀

@@RBEMotion oh cool, mad105 are good too, not that i have them as they are US only.

The white, red & chrome give it a fifties vibe.
Personally, I love it. I'm sure some people will think otherwise tho haha
@@RBEMotion I like it, looks slick.

Dan cuz better be glad I’m committed. 16 min in 😂
I appreciate your watch time 😁
Normally the audio is great from the start, this one was an anomaly

Should be an amazing board. Cost more than my car.. It's a good car.
Yeah, hopefully they fix some of the issues I had and are able to deliver an awesome product!
No sound???
The beginning is a bit more quiet than normal, tried my best with post prod but it isn't as good haha, should be alright a bit further in
In a sea of china based boards. This being one made in the states pretty much makes it worth it.

@RBEMotion its almost like, the nice cars you bring out for church. You get scared of messing it up.
@@Thec0nv1ct777 Haha yeah I like to actually RIDE my boards, usually, new board feel wears off fast for me
One of my favorite boards I saw @ esk8con! Beautifully built clean looking boards
I have to agree, the build look is fantastic!
