Thank you for watching our tutorial on how to build the Demon 3.0 electric skateboard! We have spent the last 18 months designing and perfecting this kit to give the electric skateboard community the highest performing and easiest to use electric skateboard kit. All of the components and tools required to build this kit are included in the product and the kit takes a matter of hours to assemble.
The top speed on the board is 35 MPH with a range of 30+ miles on a single charge. The maximum power of the motors on this board is 7,000W. The board uses premium components such as a 12s4p Molicel P42A Battery and a VESC based ESC.

Ok just wrong , get the isinwheel V8, open the wheel speed option in the remote and bump it up to 99. You then have a board that goes 40 miles an hour at 400$ with about an 10 mile range , but , they have swappable batteries for 150, for for 700$ you can have something far superior.
@@kingkarma4286 Pretty sure the max speed is 28 as advertised on that board.
@@SomeoneElseMorphed yeah it's tuned down to be safer and provide longer range. The board length and truck width are not wide enough for the full capabilities of the motors. As I said , you can press and hold the power and mode button and crank up the wheel speed from 60, where it is set from factory , to 99. Honestly, the remote says I go like 45-46 sometimes but it's reading the wheel spin at the board , not actually mph, so I just say it's around 40. It was reading 28-29 on the remote before I adjusted wheel speed. This also decreased the torque , and it takes a push to get going quickly now. Not too bad , but I try to cross the street with traffic sometimes and need that punch off the line speed that I don't get anymore , but I get higher top speed.
@@kingkarma4286 That's really impressive if it can really get to 40. I'd have to consider looking at it a little more, if it can somewhat reliably get to that speed. Thanks for elaborating.
nice one! the only thing I would add to the build is some thermal paste between the ESC and the heatsink, so it will work better!

Parts can be bought and replaced yourself unlike bigger esk8 sellers. But for how long, esk8 is still niche and companies disappear all the time and no more parts to buy.
Our whole goal is to develop modular systems that can evolve with the industry and latest parts!
@@DIYesk8Builders yea, I agree. I would support your site instead of the other bigger sites if I get another board. You should also put an airtag or smarttag inside the board too in case it ever gets stolen or lost.

If you get the kit, can you choose to use a different deck similar to the one provided, or does it work only with the deck given in the kit?
You can use another deck if you would prefer. The beauty of the deck provided is that all of the bolt holes align with the enclosure already and everything has been designed to fit together

@DIYesk8Builders honestly not sure I emailed you about it a few months ago. I just haven't put any time or month into figuring it out thought. I need a multimeter to figure out where the problems start. I hope it's a power but but it's unlikely. Most likely, the bms or focbox or both🤣🤣🤣 hence why I have l looked into, makes me depressed to think about🤣 but the new board looks incredible, I cant imagine my 2.0 being better. I've gone 17 miles on some insane hills that my car doesn't like. You can stop in the middle and start again and be zooming by the top. I weigh less now in the past few months, but it was doing that with 220 to 200 pounds on it, and I'd pull my buddy "180" up hills with me it's insane. Just wish I had the month to put into it, but rn it's in open and sad I need to get street wheel belts broke one a few days before I completely broke it. Think I had them to tight, and little rocks just ate threw the one side, and it eventually gave out. Need a power button because I saw a video where you could jumper the pins and it'd turn on if your power button was broke it didnt work spinning the motors would get a couple likes to flash on the focbox but not start it which leads me to the battery...500bucks and focbox replacement 300ish. Watching this video reminds me how awesome it is and why I need to fix it.
Ps. nothing was the company or products fault 100% my doing highly recommend this company and the demon lineup, my 2.0 is/was insane so the fact they made it better is beyond me haha.
