Dumbbell HIIT Workout at Home | 15 Minutes

  • Hello everyone!
    Full body, high intensity, no repeat dumbbell HIIT workout with weights using lighter dumbbells only 15 minutes!
    We will get the heart rate up, build muscle and improve overall fitness level!
    Every exercise is performed for 30 seconds with 30 seconds rest, then onto the next!
    Squat to press
    Lunge w/lateral raise
    Lunge w/lateral raise
    Romanian to rear fly
    Squat to curl
    Plank to thruster
    Snatch
    Snatch
    Side lunge to upright row
    Side lunge to upright row
    Tricep press w/ leg lower hold
    Flyes w/ leg lowers
    Sit up to driving car
    Plank to side raise
    Plank to side raise
    Rest for 30 seconds then...
    FINISHER - 30 seconds burpees! As many as you can... burpee with upright plank instead of push-up or chest to floor. This will just finish off your workout!
    I would always suggest at least one higher intensity workout (HIIT) per week be incorporated into your training, whether it be burpee session, dumbbell workouts, sprints etc!

    When you scroll through the amazing library of shorter workouts and come across this gem!!. I’m currently doing Iron again but didn’t have as much time. Will definitely do this again and again. Caroline, you always deliver . I can never thank you enough ❤🤩

      Agree! It sure is packed and well-balanced. I'm on the EPIC progrram and had to look for an alternative for Day 10 and found some great add-ons to the playlist. Love HIIT with dumbbells, coz I suck at bodyweight versions haha!

    Caroline's idea of lighter weight is 6kg. My own idea was 2kg and now i realize i need to(and can) build the strength to progress to using heavier weights. Which is why I don't get why people like Chloe Ting never say what weight she's lifting

    I'm here as an add on after epic heat day 23. This was surprisingly a nice way to wind down and flush the legs with 30s rest in between sets. 30s rest is rare in the Caroline Girvan world!

      I cannot believe 30 sec rest. This felt like a low intensity steady cardio. After EH day 23, it felt like a rest 😂

      Just did heat 23 today. I skipped most rest for this add on as 30 secs rest just "didn't feel right" after spending killer workouts with her! LOL CG look what you've done to us! Thank you ❤

    Did this today with 10lbs dumbbells! Didn't have enough energy today to do the EPIC HEAT or anything else intense so I picked this one, and I am REALLY REALLLY happy that I still got a little workout in my day today instead of completely skipping a day and had NOTHING! Thanks for this training Caroline!

      Same, I'm also on the epic heat but I didn't have time or energy because of exam and I also tend to pause a lot on the epic heat workout which results in a longer workout, this one was light yet you get a little workout and movement☺

    Great workout thank you! I did high knees or squat jumps or mountain climbers in the 30sec rest for an even higher intensity workout .

    Hi Caroline. I really enjoyed doing this. I like doing exercises where you work more than one body part at once. It seems time efficient and makes you work hard! I 100% agree with your comment about including HIIT workouts into your training. To me the crucial thing in HIIT is getting the intensity level just right so that you work hard in the “work” section but recover in the “rest” so you can keep going through the rounds. Sometimes this means modifying things a bit...but that’s fine. Take care. Matthew

      Hello Matthew! Great you did it! I have always had routine of HIIT on a Sunday morning early so thought I should try to keep some form of routine into my life during this time!
      And definitely modifying is perfect sometimes! So days I modify an exercise even if I did the harder option week before as some days I simply don’t feel like it! Then other days I find a more difficult version to do!

    Loved this!! What a bunch of fun combinations!! Loved the lateral lunge to upright row, squat to curl, snatches (always😆), tricep press with leg hold, sit up to drive car...they are just all great. Perfect for my add-on to Epic Heat today. I think next time I will increase the work time to 40/20 or 45/15 to up the difficulty and increase the fun so I can do the moves longer😆😆! Thanks Caroline.

    New mum trying to squeeze in some, ANY exercise! I’m so used to being able to go to the gym any day or night and now I’m typing into my search ‘Caroline girvan 15mins’ to see what’s out there!     Just found this workout. I've been doing Caroline's workouts for about 3 to 4 weeks. Just trying to get better with strength resistance. Some of these in this video I've never even done before. I don't know how I did. Especially with my form. I know some of it was a little awkward feeling, but glad I made it through without quitting!😓

    Completed after the PARADOX leg day workout in EPIC Heat; I used 5kg dumbbells.
    This was much tamer than all the other HIIT workouts I've done, but then that's probably for the best as I'll need every ounce of willpower I can muster for EMOM on Sunday.

    My favorite, favorite, favorite! Today is the 2nd day in a row I have done this. I just love it. Short, sweet and to the point. Just when you think you can't go any longer, it's a Burpee Blowout and then you are done :)

    I started doing this workout as my fasted cardio 5 days a week. This gets my blood flowing and sweat dripping faster than the elliptical. Love it!!!

    This was great!! Added a couple of hip thrusts in between the fly and the press, and something else in between at the beginning to make it more difficult. This is overall a GREAT BEGINNER HIIT workout and really gets you breathing and sweating. Thanks!

I’m in love with the exercise set.. the 30 sec rest is perfect for me.. many others have only 15 and i always fall behind and get frustrated.. also all but one, was new to me • i’m so happy i found this channel.. 🥰 liked and subscribed!.. also..     That was great! Perfect body, too. Not huge and bulky. Strong and lean. Burpees are my kryptonite, though. My knees don't love jumping, but I love this workout!

    This must have been the easiest HIIT by Caroline ever lol. Only the burpees at the end even raised my heart rate. Maybe I need heavier weights for it. I shall keep this in my weekly schedule though as at least it's a HIIT I can do haha

    Caroline I have been following you since Epic 1. I can’t afford the app currently so I can’t try all your new awesome content. So I decided to go back to your early videos and test them all. I am loving them. Short and sweet but since they are your workouts we know short doesn’t mean easy. I do hope that you start releasing some new content on RUclips. One day I’ll buy the app. Until then, there is so much content here to repeat and switch up.
