This was in January 2021, after almost a year of covid lockdowns and cancelled concerts. Than he did this virtual “digital show”concert. It was beyond beautiful, although it can’t beat the live concert 🙂.
I'm sure Dears (Dimash fans) will have told you he does indeed cover the Diva Dance (Fifth Element) song. Please make sure to react to the Bastau performance. (Even if you also do some other version. Each time he sings it he brings something new but the Bastau performance is special because he does it so effortlessly and even more impressively than other versions I've heard -- even though it's 100% live, in the middle of a 3 hour concert!) The transitions from soft and vulnerable, to strong, and then closing with lonely and vulnerable, is the story of the song SOS. This is nothing to do with him. It's just the meaning of the song SOS, which is one of 70 songs that are part of the punk rock opera Starmania from the 1970s. Dimash emotionally inhabits each and every songs he sings. It gets even more intense when a song resonates especially strongly with him, and trust me, SOS is only partially like that. There are other songs where his intensity goes to another level beyond SOS, eg Samaltau, Olimpico, Ave Maria, Love is Like a Dream, Love of Tired Swans, Stranger, Screaming, and on and on. And when it's one of his own compositions it often gets even more intense again, even if it's apparently light material (eg Be With Me) but especially when the topic is itself fundamentally intense and personal (eg War & Peace, Unforgettable Day, The Story of One Sky, and so on).

S o s is the song that Dimash chose when he was invited to take part in a Chinese competition in 2017. The clip of him singing this went viral on you tube and gave him millions of Chinese fans too, . As you say, this song has EVERYTHING. Dimash has done three versions of the diva dance, all quite different. I’d recommend Stranger from New Wave 2021 which is in English. He tells a story in that one, and in actual fact, he tells a story in many of his songs.

Thank you for discovering Dimash and welcome to a beautiful world of music. Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 languages so far). He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this. His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong. He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills. He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. It adds so much more to the experience. I have often suggested her channel to reactors, and when they do not avail themselves of these treasures, it is on them for missing so much.

What you have in mind ist Diva Dance from the 5th Element. He actually sang the second part of this song. Please react to the Diva Dance from his Bastau concert. He performed this song on his first solo concert in Kazakhstan called Bastau in 2017. It was after he finished The Singer competition in which he also performed The Diva Dance together with another awesome Italian song Confessa by the Italian singer Adriano Celentano. The Bastau version is short but much better. He was much more relaxed there because it was his concert and no competition. What fascinates me the most is, that he sang this song in his concert where he had already been on stage for almost 2 hours. Just unbelievabel🤯. He worked so hard for this terrific concert. I was scared at first when I saw him. He was so terribly thin. You can react this song with another awesome version of Diva Dance together because it is really short (1.42 minutes). Some other reactors do. There are also more little vocal-surprises in this second video. It’s called Drunken Concubine and it is from the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala in China on January 25th, 2020. He sings with a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera Li Yugang. That's why he's trained to sing so high. I'm sure Dears (Dimash fans) will have told you he does indeed cover the Diva Dance (Fifth Element) song. Please make sure to react to the Bastau performance. (Even if you also do some other version. Each time he sings it he brings something new but the Bastau performance is special because he does it so effortlessly and even more impressively than other versions I've heard -- even though it's 100% live, in the middle of a 3 hour concert!)
The transitions from soft and vulnerable, to strong, and then closing with lonely and vulnerable, is the story of the song SOS. This is nothing to do with him. It's just the meaning of the song SOS, which is one of 70 songs that are part of the punk rock opera Starmania from the 1970s.
Dimash emotionally inhabits each and every songs he sings. It gets even more intense when a song resonates especially strongly with him, and trust me, SOS is only partially like that. There are other songs where his intensity goes to another level beyond SOS, eg Samaltau, Olimpico, Ave Maria, Love is Like a Dream, Love of Tired Swans, Stranger, Screaming, and on and on.

S o s is the song that Dimash chose when he was invited to take part in a Chinese competition in 2017. The clip of him singing this went viral on you tube and gave him millions of Chinese fans too, . As you say, this song has EVERYTHING. Dimash has done three versions of the diva dance, all quite different. I’d recommend Stranger from New Wave 2021 which is in English. He tells a story in that one, and in actual fact, he tells a story in many of his songs.
He sings from his soul! I feel waves of energy and love when he sings because he disappears into the song, egoless, magical! The best singer and one of the most beautiful souls on the planet🙏

Dimash is a 29-years old singer from Kazakhstan and believe me, you’ve seen nothing at all. In my opinion you have discovered the best singer in the world. He has perfect pitch and currently has a vocal range of 7,7 octaves (vocal fry C1 (B0) - whistle D8 off the piano). That means he hits notes in almost 8 octaves and sings consistently in 6 octaves. Not in one song (mostly😅). At least what he has shown us so far. His voice is the result not only of his God-given talent, but also of his almost 25 years of hard daily training. From the age of 5 he attended music school in his hometown of Aktobe. He plays several instruments like piano, dombra (a kazach instrument), drums, marimba and more. He has classical as well as contemporary vocal training and sings in different genres from opera to pop, jazz, Kazakh folk, ballads and he even raps a bit. And often he skillfully mixes several genres in one song. Mainly classic and pop, so he created a new crossover genre. And meanwhile in more than 10 languages. The latest songs (from Tokyo Jazz Festival in November 2021) are Ikanaide in Japanese and at his concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022 he sang a new song in Spanish (about 7 languages in one concert!). And at his concert in Yerevan on April 29, 2023, he sang an Armenian folk song for the first time (it has to be about 15 languages so far).
He sings no mainstream and is a completely independent artist. He is managed by his father Kanat, who founded his own company "DimashAli Creative Center". The logo can be seen at the beginning of many of Dimash's videos. Maybe that’s the reason you never heard of him yet. He doesn’t sell his soul to a music label. He doesn’t want to be dictated by money when he has to sing what, when, where and how.
Many of my favorite songs are in his native tongue. He is a nice, respectful and humble person. He respects people regardless of their original, religion or profession. He truly loves his homeland Kazakhstan and his people with all his heart and always shows it with pride in many of his songs, concerts and interviews. During his concerts in Dubai, Düsseldorf and Prague in 2022, before he performed his song War And Peace, he told the audience he loves all people in every country. And there are no bad nations (only bad leaders). And I absolutely believe this.
His concert in September 23, 2022 was in his hometown Almaty, it was so amazing and it lasts almost 4 hours. Believe it or not but he really gets better and better. Every time you think you know him and his art, you realize you are so wrong.
He's very spiritual and thankful for the gift God has given him. But he also works very hard to constantly improve his vocal skills.
He said in an interview that he trains at least 3 hours every day, if necessary, it can be 10 hours to prepare for a concert. He loves swimming and also a lot under water. Maybe that's why he has this large lung capacity to hold the notes as long as he does. He's a singer you can't put in any box. He sings almost every genre there is. Every time you watch a video, expect the unexpected. Even the covers he sings he makes his own and brings elements into the song that you would never expect. Don't be surprised if you get suggestions for songs you may have already seen. Dimash has different versions of many of the same songs. They are all worth seeing. He sang this song on his digital concert in January 2021 during the pandemic. He had to cancel his tour and did this concert for his Dears/fans. That’s why there was no audiende to be seen or heard.
SOS is a song in the rock-opera „Starmania“ from 1978. The first who presented this song was the French singer and songwriter Daniel Balavione.
SOS was the first performance of the China competition (in 2017) and was his first appearance in this show. The Singer is a show in China where only established singers are invited to perform. All the singers invited to this show are already well-known artists in China who have already won awards. Dimash was invited as the first foreigner as a wild card and the youngest in the history of this show. They became aware of him because he had already won some important competitions in Kazakhstan and Belarus, among others. He was still completely unknown in China. Actually, it was intended that he would only have 1 or 2 appearances. But it came completely different. When he woke up the next morning after his first performance of SOS he was a megastar in China and even found bodyguards outside his hotel room. SOS’ first video had 600 million views when it aired. The man who often plays the kobys in Dimash’s performances is the best on this instrument and a good friend of Dimash. His name is Olzhas Qurmanbek. Stranger is one of my absolute favorite songs. Dimash Qudaibergen (di-MOSH Koo-dye-BEHR-gen) is a talented artist from Kazakhstan who began his formal training at the age of 5. He is professionally trained in opera, contemporary music, and musical theater. His diverse discography includes genres such as pop, R&B, EDM, rock, folk/traditional, neo-classical, opera, and even rap and hip-hop.
Qudaibergen has performed songs in 15 languages and is fluent in Russian and Kazakh while also possessing some proficiency in English and Chinese. A multi-instrumentalist, composer, songwriter, producer, director, and actor, he owns a production company called Dimashali Creative Center. He is 29 years old, 6'3", and a consummate performer and he has a great love and respect for his fans whom he has named DEARS.

His first digital music album "ID" went platinum in only 37 seconds after release, and 3x platinum in only one hour, and 5x platinum in only one day on Chinese music platforms. Dimash sings in 14 languages, plays 7+ musical instruments, is a composer, an amazing vocalist, patriot, philanthropist and a very warm and humble person. In December 2019, he made his US debut in New York at the Barclays Center. His concert sold out in 10 minutes on LiveNation! I believe you are referring to The videos from "G Wu's" RUclips channel. English Subtitles, and back ground stories for the songs some of which are about real people and events. It adds so much more to the experience. I have often suggested her channel to reactors, and when they do not avail themselves of these treasures, it is on them for missing so much.

He, indeed, did The Diva Dance from the Fith Element ! You can find different versions but the best he did is still from his Bastau concert.

What you have in mind ist Diva Dance from the 5th Element. He actually sang the second part of this song. Please react to the Diva Dance from his Bastau concert. He performed this song on his first solo concert in Kazakhstan called Bastau in 2017. It was after he finished The Singer competition in which he also performed The Diva Dance together with another awesome Italian song Confessa by the Italian singer Adriano Celentano. The Bastau version is short but much better. He was much more relaxed there because it was his concert and no competition. What fascinates me the most is, that he sang this song in his concert where he had already been on stage for almost 2 hours. Just unbelievabel🤯. He worked so hard for this terrific concert. I was scared at first when I saw him. He was so terribly thin.

It’s called Drunken Concubine and it is from the Shanghai Spring Festival Gala in China on January 25th, 2020. He sings with a great Chinese Opera singer who usually plays a female in classic Peking opera Li Yugang. That's why he's trained to sing so high. This nasal singing is traditional and he is a very famous singer in China. The two harmonize so well together. It’s really fantastic. I love it and I’m sure you will like it, too🥰.

The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020. You did find the right words and so much more. You immediately noticed Dimash's incredible stage presence and how he incarnates the song. You also put a quick caption, pointing out the use of his hands acting as his voice maestro. Because you wished it, I suggest 2 songs for your next Dimash reactions. The first song is from The Fifth Element movie, "The Diva Dance" (from the Bastau Concert). Yep he did that too. The second is "Sinful Passion" but specifically from the Moscow Concert fancam version. It is up close and personal with Dimash, his voice and his hands.
