Dimash, singing here in 2017 in French, is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 when it was found he has perfect pitch. He is university educated with degrees in classical opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has just (18th June 2020) completed his Masters specialising in Composition, and receiving his Masters degree with Honours, having achieved the maximum score of 100% and has now started his PhD. His range is over 6 octaves (almost 7 now) but Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn but again he is doing well with it. In this performance, he was 22 and in a competition for famous professional singers (not a talent show) in China he was invited as a wildcard and after this one song was catapulted to worldwide stardom and became a pop superstar in China. He is also famous in Russia mainly for his neo classical work with Igor Krutoy and many of those works are very operatic, but he has now introduced pop songs there too. His vocals range from a rich bass baritone through to an extremely high soprano and his whistle register and has hit a D8 for 5 seconds with vibrato. He was on a solo world tour and in his concerts he sings for around 3 hours with an eclectic mix of styles. He is from a very musical family both parents and his sister sing, mother is a soprano. Dimash was offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far, but I suspect world domination will soon come his way. He is a multi instrumentalist too and is very competent with 8 instruments but can play just about anything. He is 26 now, and is mostly known as a live performer, he has released a triple platinum album ( platinum in 37 seconds, triple platinum in under an hour) and a new album will be released soon. It has been recognised that his high notes are not whistle, but head voice, Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does its spectacular like everything else about him. He has billions of fans worldwide and I am definitely one of them, and he calls us his Dears, as we are all as dear to him as his family, and he means it, he knows who helped to make him famous. He is a softly spoken, polite, elegant and very humble respectful young man. He deserves every bit of the success he is having, he has worked very hard for the past 20 plus years and now his dreams as a young 5 year old are coming true. There is an interview he did for BBC World Service in 2018 where the interviewer showed a drawing he did when he was 5 of him singing on a big stage with microphones, speakers and his beloved music cassettes showing his desire to be where he is now. His recent sellout world tour has been postponed due to the covid-19 epidemic but will restart when its safe to do so. He has concerts lined up in Dusseldorf, Prague and Minsk there will be others around the world including South America. He is multi talented singing every genre from opera to rap. He composes, plays seven instruments, dances , directs, models etc. Sings in 12. His lower range was good when he was 22, but now, at 26 it's already a gorgeous, resonant baritone. He was offered a position with Astana Opera, but his passion is cross over singing. He did a duet with Aida Garifullina (a soprano associated with the Vienna opera) and the rehearsals went very long, and she needed to leave before it was done. It was reported that she jokingly told him as she left "you can sing my part too, if you want..." If you want to hear that performance - with Dimash in baritone voice - check out Ulysses. That's how you become a megastar in 6 min flat...lol...and you asked "how", first you have to have huge talent and then you have to work on it from age 5 to this time every day minimum 3 hrs..and BTW. you still may not get to the level Dimash is. Yes the day after his first preformace in the Chinese TV I AM Singer he was already so popular he could not go out without a bodyguard.....this was in 2017 and he has gotten even better now...His parents, who play a big part in his life, say that usually an artist needs to spend lots of money promoting a new artist....but with Dimash his fans spread the word on social media....he calls his fans 'Dears' because they are like family to him...keep listening...he will cont to surprise and amaze you!!

When Dimash peformed with Lara Fabian and Aida Garafullina (an opera singer) in Ti Amo Cosi the story goes that Aida said to Lara "If I have to step away, Dimash can sing my part." Buckle your seatbelt if you want to continue with Dimash. You will get a taste of Michael Jackson, Pavorotti, Eminem, Montsarrat Cabale, Farrinneli, Jacki Chan, dolphins, angels, vocal electric guitar, a Kasach prince, an Armani model, 007 - all within an amazingly kind, thoughtful, humble, generous, socially committed to peace and ending world hunger (in a partnership with Michaerl Kors), down to earth human being who is unapologetic about his dedication to his family values and patriotism to his country of Kazakhstan. He is basically a world ambassador for his country. He is now being groomed for his introduction to America but insists on not being "produced" American pop style in his own firm but gentle way. All the same he's not against playing with the pop style in his concerts and his latest video Be With Me, a mini-movie that is wonderfully entertaining. Enjoy!!!

Dimash was youngest (22) contestant in the show called "I am a Singer" or" The Singers " in 2017, this performance is from first episode. He is huge star now. Just go ahead and become a Dear/Fan of Dimash. This 6'3" tall man from Kazakhstan is singing a French song at a sing off in China. He shocked their socks off. Classically trained vocally beginning at age 5 and was still in training here at age 22. He will be 27 in a couple of weeks, May 24th. There is a Dimash rabbit hole you can go ahead and dive into, we welcome you. Believe me when I say, this is not his best performance though it is might good.

I have said many times in the past 3 years his singing technique and control opens the door to your soul, takes hold, massages it, and transforms your being. You realize after ASMR (goosebumps) there is an amazing goodness in this world. Dimash heals. Some with depression say he is their tonic. Enjoy the ride. The Dears, his fans, are in the millions and his concerts are sold out. His genre can best be described as "pop-opera". The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. Dimash, singing here in 2017 in French, is a phenomenon from Kazakhstan. He started singing lessons at 5 when it was found he has perfect pitch. He is university educated with degrees in classical opera, another in contemporary music, pop and jazz with a major in vocal. He also completed a Broadway musical masterclass and has just (18th June 2020) completed his Masters specialising in Composition, and receiving his Masters degree with Honours, having achieved the maximum score of 100% and has now started his PhD. His range is over 6 octaves (almost 7 now) but Dimash is dismissive and says it's not how big your range is but what you do with it. He has won many prestigious singing competitions and is a decorated national treasure in his native Kazakhstan. He sings in 12 different languages, speaks fluent Kazakh and Russian, is pretty good with English but is still studying it along with Mandarin which he says is a very hard language to learn but again he is doing well with it.
In this performance, he was 22 and in a competition for famous professional singers (not a talent show) in China he was invited as a wildcard and after this one song was catapulted to worldwide stardom and became a pop superstar in China. He is also famous in Russia mainly for his neo classical work with Igor Krutoy and many of those works are very operatic, but he has now introduced pop songs there too. His vocals range from a rich bass baritone through to an extremely high soprano and his whistle register and has hit a D8 for 5 seconds with vibrato. He was on a solo world tour and in his concerts he sings for around 3 hours with an eclectic mix of styles. He is from a very musical family both parents and his sister sing, mother is a soprano. Dimash was offered a place with the Astana Opera in Kazakhstan but turned it down to follow his own path and he has been very successful thus far, but I suspect world domination will soon come his way. He is a multi instrumentalist too and is very competent with 8 instruments but can play just about anything. He is 26 now, and is mostly known as a live performer, he has released a triple platinum album ( platinum in 37 seconds, triple platinum in under an hour) and a new album will be released soon.
It has been recognised that his high notes are not whistle, but head voice, Dimash rarely uses his whistle register but when he does its spectacular like everything else about him. He has billions of fans worldwide and I am definitely one of them, and he calls us his Dears, as we are all as dear to him as his family, and he means it, he knows who helped to make him famous. He is a softly spoken, polite, elegant and very humble respectful young man. He deserves every bit of the success he is having, he has worked very hard for the past 20 plus years and now his dreams as a young 5 year old are coming true. There is an interview he did for BBC World Service in 2018 where the interviewer showed a drawing he did when he was 5 of him singing on a big stage with microphones, speakers and his beloved music cassettes showing his desire to be where he is now. His recent sellout world tour has been postponed due to the covid-19 epidemic but will restart when its safe to do so. He has concerts lined up in Dusseldorf, Prague and Minsk there will be others around the world including South America. He is multi talented singing every genre from opera to rap. He composes, plays seven instruments, dances , directs, models etc. Sings in 12. Languages speaks Kazakh and Russian and is getting on well in English now.but he remains very humble. If you let the clip run, you would see him thanking the musicians.

He is an opera singer, trained since he was 5 years old. He is a bas, baritone, tenor, mezzo and soprano in one person.
He's not an opera singer. He is classically trained, true but he doesn't sing in opera.
His lower range was good when he was 22, but now, at 26 it's already a gorgeous, resonant baritone. He was offered a position with Astana Opera, but his passion is cross over singing. He did a duet with Aida Garifullina (a soprano associated with the Vienna opera) and the rehearsals went very long, and she needed to leave before it was done. It was reported that she jokingly told him as she left "you can sing my part too, if you want..." If you want to hear that performance - with Dimash in baritone voice - check out Ulysses. It may change your mind about opera. Or ... not. But you'll have had the chance to check out a very special performance.

Every song he sings is different than any other song he sings. You just scratched the surface of Dimash too. Songs he sings are Hello, Sinful Passion, Opera 2, Olimpico, Unforgettable Day, Across Endless Dimensions. His female counterpart is a Korean named "SO HYANG"!! I have said many times in the past 3 years his singing technique and control opens the door to your soul, takes hold, massages it, and transforms your being. You realize after ASMR (goosebumps) there is an amazing goodness in this world. Dimash heals. Some with depression say he is their tonic. Enjoy the ride. The Dears, his fans, are in the millions and his concerts are sold out. His genre can best be described as "pop-opera". The way I found to celebrate the majesty of Dimash's talent was to have written the following about him: If I were to rule the world, I would immediately add, to the universal declaration of human rights, another article (they would become 31) whose wording would next "All human beings have the right, at least once in their lives, to hear Dimash sing". I am a Professor and I believe that I have a special profession that allows me to transform the human heart and consequently the human society. I work with young people and young people need to have good references. I had been looking for someone for a long time, of whom I could speak to the young people I work with, as a good reference. That person should be young, a super talent, a super mega star in the art world and above all, because he is the most important, a good human person. I searched and never found anyone with these characteristics. Until, finally, I found this person and that person is Dimash. I had the opportunity to say this to Dimash, personally, when I was with him in Latvia where I went, coming from Portugal (there are 8000 km round trip), on the 7th of March 2020.
