@@monkeymittens I know. I just replayed the original game and found out he died yesterday. The fact that we will never have a Max Payne 4 is depressing af, though I suppose 3 was a good end for him. I think his last role was in Alan Wake II, and Sam Lake, the face of Max Payne, is mocapping the performance while McCaffrey does the voice over, so that's basically like the last remnant of Max Payne we have.
On the PS2 version you can disable the "spring look" function of the camera resetting its vertical position in the game options. I found out by chance. It annoys me too.
That would've been nice to know. I'm glad that's at least an option though because that's one of those small details that can have some effect on the gameplay.
The first JRPG I played was Rouge Galaxy it wasn't the greatest but I'd recommend you try it for your beating every ps2 game series it's on ps4 for 15 bucks good luck with your series it sounds fun I also recommend the Jak and Daxter games and the Ratchet and Clank series too
Bro Rogue Galaxy was amazing. Easily one of the best PS2 RPGs imo. Right behind FFX, Nocturne, Persona 3/4, Raidou Kuzunoha vs King Abaddon, and Dragon Quest VIII.
@@backupschmliff1156 I'm glad you liked it I felt like Rouge Galaxy went under the radar I haven't seen alot of reviews of the game. Did you also play Romancing Saga on the ps2? That's another JRPG I haven't seen alot of coverage on. Oh yeah also FFX was great your right I didn't play it as a kid though I only recently got into it about a year ago
@@Based_nobark I never got into Romancing Saga but I have backlogged it recently. Did you play the .hack games? The trilogy is more popular, as it got a remaster on PS4 a few years ago, but I also played the original quadrilogy.
That yelp review will get them!
They will never financially recover.
Rest in Peace Jim.
He will forever be missed. ❤️
@monkeymittens Yeah brother, he was a major part of my life. Goodbye Max.
Cant wait for the remake
That would be pretty cool to see!
@@monkeymittens think you can do the PS2 metal gear solid games?
For sure, that's one of those games I've known about for years, but never played. It'd be nice to actually see what it is.
James McCaffrey will always be a legend
I can't believe he died so soon after I first played Max Payne! ☹️

Thanks for the luck! I love Ratchet and Clank, they were a big part of my childhood!

That game sounds interesting, I'll definitely take a look!
