Anyone notice Newman is reading “Alive”…the true story of the rugby team who crashed in the Andes and resulted to cannibalism? The details in this show, I swear. Brilliant.
@bret 2004, golly gosh! How many times have you watched this? I’m really loving these ‘snippets’… is there a place where we can watch the whole episodes? Hi 👋🏽 from Australia 🇦🇺
No wonder this show is enjoying a resurgence, for those of us that didn't grow up watching Sienfeld, this is so fresh and funny and the best comedy show compared to anything today
I watched this show religiously back in the 90s and to this day I don't miss an episode. I just keep going back to the beginning on Netflix. Timeless indeed.
Newman was both one of the most popular and most despised tv characters of all time. This was true television that was discussed by everyone at work the next day.
There's a deleted scene where Bania implies he's going to post reviews on the 'net himself. "I'm going on the 'NET, Jerry! The 'NET!" But yeah, an Internet reference on Seinfeld is definitely jarring.
Kramer was always at his best when he was teamed up with someone but apparently Michael Richards pushed back against doing more stuff like that because he didn't want to end up being half of a comedy duo
@@jorgesuspenso5105 Yes I can see that. I was relating it to a Twilight Zone episode where aliens visited Earth and they had a book called To Serve Man. In the end the humans find out it's a cook book on how to cook and prepare human flesh.
I used too watch an episode here and there when I was growing up but these days I love watching these clips. It was alright, being the only thing on TV but now it's comic gold.
Butter Kramer Butter Kramer Butter HEY BUDDY! Newman fighting his urges.....Not that there is anything wrong with that.....Happy Turkey Day To ALL in The Seinfeld Universe
Would be nice to see a one episode special today while they're all alive and the set is still in tact 100% (they used this apartment in always sunny in Philadelphia for a seinfeld scene they did)
They did an arc on _Curb Your Enthusiasm_ where the cast was doing a reunion episode, and you can find those scenes here on YT, but I'd like to see a true reunion special like the one HBO had for _The Fresh Prince of Bel Air._ With Jerry, Jason, Julia and Michael sitting in those theater seats talking about their favorite memories of each other, talking about the actors who are no longer with us, talking about working with Bryan Cranston and Wayne Knight and John O'Hurley and Ian Abercrombie, etc., etc., etc. It would be HBO Max's most-streamed program in their entire existence. And 2023, the 25th anniversary of the show going off the air, would be the absolute BEST time to do it. There's a lot of nostalgia for the 1990s right now, and people are hungry for that nostalgic content.
"Alive" by Piers Paul Reed. True story of the Uruguayan soccer team that crashlanded in the Andes and resorted to cannibalism. As he's pondering eating his friend. 😆😳
Imagine what it was like in the 90s seeing these air on television without the internet to just watch it back? It had to be so awesome to wait for new episodes every week with only one chance to see them, because back then not everybody was recording them with VHS, and even if you had friends that did, you would have to go over and borrow it etc. ... the actual good ol' days
George - I was buttering myself for a shave Jerry - Oh, not you too George - Anyway, I must have dropped some on the floor and I slipped and fell Jerry - You know what’s good for that? Relish
You can't shave with butter, just like you can't shave if you apply olive oil to your skin. The hair coagulates in the razor and the butter/oil won't let you get sharp edge
I new a man from Paraguay who was forced to eat human flesh when he was trapped in a mine with a dead coworker. He regretted it until the day he died and always said he should have just starved or ate bugs .
Newman is a cannibal. I can't believe Kramer is friends with someone who would try to eat him! And why was Jerry just standing there instead of helping Kramer?😮😲
Anyone notice Newman is reading “Alive”…the true story of the rugby team who crashed in the Andes and resulted to cannibalism? The details in this show, I swear. Brilliant.

That Turkey with Kramers head effect is pretty good for a 90's sitcom.
Yeah, considering CGI was in its infancy.
And they do it all with practical effects 😁

@@greatBLT Oh.
Newman reading " Alive " I think. First time I noticed. He says, " I'm starvin' " 🤣🤣🤣
Lol love the continuity in this episode. Kramer still has and is using his hot tub from when he almost froze to death in it.
The hot tub scene is like some 90's version of a Bugs Bunny cartoon. 😅
Nailed it.
That was for the Bugs bunny Cartoon Hiawatha’s Rabbit Hunt (1941)
The way how Kramer says “Feel it” at 1:17

Newman reading Alive while Kramer simmers in a hot tub. This could only end one way.
That was such a clever little touch of comedy (sad story though).

Good writing will always be timeless, there's no reason for today's writing to be much better from the past.
Ah, the classic "Everything new is bad" mentality.

I like how you can see Kramer's makeup getting on the butter and bread
Yeah they didn't really think that one through. It looks like pussed up old blood :P

Ah, so thats what it was.
Then Kramer eats the makeup covered bread
Idk why but that really grosses me out
I love how Jerry and Newman have a feud and we never learned what the root of that problem was. If they revealed it, it probably would've ruined it.
