At least in my opinion, I feel like focused is the most difficult emotion to write a leitmotif for. The composer probably struggled and that was the best they got. Or I'm overthinking it too much.

Thank you for this video Viv (can I call you Viv?)! The emotion sounds represent their real life counterparts! Fine sounds basic (trust me you'll only hear that at the start of the game), while Happy sounds even better, and Very Happy is layering VERY more instruments on top of the tune. Oh, and that piccolo (I think) at the end of that. Wow, that's good. The Energized is speedy with it's instruments, conveying the emotion of energy, and Very Energized is has even more instruments, and the tune is slightly altered to become exciting and bold. Inspired is happy and unique because at the end there's a bell, but to me it sounds like a lightbulb going off above your head. Very Inspired adds less instruments, but turns the tune into a upward step, kind of pushing the notion of lightbulb. Focused sounds, focused, and I agree with Jon Woods, why does the Very variant sounds so fricking ominous※? Both Confidents sound Confident, but the Very variant sounds much more triumphant. Flirty sounds cutesy magical, and Very Flirty sounds so beautiful "I'm in love," but my Sims only feel that after they WooHoo※※. Playful and Very Playful sound very silly and cheery, but Hysterical starts with a similar tune but becomes more of a negative sound. I have heard Uncomfortable too many times! Like, Sharon, I can't afford ingredients for food so go do your fricking freelancing! Very Uncomfortable is also one engrained into my life. Tense sounds like Uncomfortable, but slightly altered. Very Tense sounds kinda scary, tbh※※※. Sad sounds like the name, and, can someone tell me when you hear "Sad 2" because I haven't heard that before. Very Sad, sounds even sadder, but I forgot to bring this up earlier, but the Very, and life threatening ones like Hysterical are usually prolonged to convey the message more, by surprising the player with longer and more musical emotions. Angry is played very deep on what sounds like a piano, which I really like. Very Angry sounds almost the same until you make it to 2:23 or 2:24 , that sounds like a horror movie. Enraged sounds even worse. Embarrassed sounds itself self-deprecating, but very cutesy and simple, Very Embarrassed sounds much more like the others, with a lot of strings. Sounds like an awful thing, and Mortified sounds even worse. Dazed sounds very similar to Wah-wah-waaaahhh you hear in movies and shows. I'm curious, how can you become dazed? Isn't it just from coffee and losing a fight? I agreed with MarioLord 14, Bored is kinda Very Fine. Bored sound like sitting in the waiting room of anything. Possessed (btw as I was typing Possessed it auto-corrected it to P*ssed, which is basically Angry) sounds spooky, Scared sounds scary, and Terrified sound straight out of The Ring (which I haven't seen) or something. Now that I think about it, every positive emotion kinda builds off of Fine, with the exceptions of Focused and maybe Energized※※※※. It makes sense. Fine is what you start as, and you need to experience, and enjoy, and learn, to become Happy, Energized, Inspired, Focused, Confident, Flirty, Playful, Uncomfortable, Tense, Sad, Angry, Embarrassed, Dazed, Bored, Scared, or maybe something else. It's kind of beautiful in a way. Anyways I hope you enjoyed my analysis of Sims Emotion sounds (what am I doing with my life), now, experience, enjoy, and learn! ※ New Idea! Maybe it's because of the Brain Drain death. ※※ Question: Does anyone know any other ways to make sims Very Flirty besides WooHoo-ing. ※※※ Eureka! It's (probably) meant to scare the player, not because Very Tense is life threatening (to my knowledge), but because you don't want your sims to be Very Tense. ※※※※ More analysis (yay...)! Happy is also Very Fine because the tune sounds like it was meant to be a Very variant. Confident and Flirty clearly take inspiration from Happy, which is just Fine with a harp tbh. Playful sounds sort of different, Inspired sounds different, but Focused (a "positive" emotion. When I'm focused, it's usually for school and that isn't that exciting/positive) and Energized sound very different. Energized and Playful share a musical link, which is well justified since when I'm really playful and excited I'm also energetic. I'm not sure why that is, because for me, it seems like everytime my sims get sad, there's a 50/50 chance that either of the variants play. In almost every other "All emotions" video that I've seen on RUclips, the "Sad 2" has always been there. I really don't have an answer as to why you haven't heard it. I used to think that people just missed it because it was so subtle, but since so many are experiencing this, I guess it's something else. Thanks for your comment! 😁

Very Tense sounds kinda scary, tbh※※※. Sad sounds like the name, and, can someone tell me when you hear "Sad 2" because I haven't heard that before. Very Sad, sounds even sadder, but I forgot to bring this up earlier, but the Very, and life threatening ones like Hysterical are usually prolonged to convey the message more, by surprising the player with longer and more musical emotions. Angry is played very deep on what sounds like a piano, which I really like. Very Angry sounds almost the same until you make it to 2:23 or 2:24 , that sounds like a horror movie. Enraged sounds even worse. Embarrassed sounds itself self-deprecating, but very cutesy and simple, Very Embarrassed sounds much more like the others, with a lot of strings. Sounds like an awful thing, and Mortified sounds even worse. Dazed sounds very similar to Wah-wah-waaaahhh you hear in movies and shows. I'm curious, how can you become dazed? Isn't it just from coffee and losing a fight? I agreed with MarioLord 14, Bored is kinda Very Fine. Bored sound like sitting in the waiting room of anything. Possessed (btw as I was typing Possessed it auto-corrected it to P*ssed, which is basically Angry) sounds spooky, Scared sounds scary, and Terrified sound straight out of The Ring (which I haven't seen) or something. Now that I think about it, every positive emotion kinda builds off of Fine, with the exceptions of Focused and maybe Energized※※※※. It makes sense. Fine is what you start as, and you need to experience, and enjoy, and learn, to become Happy, Energized, Inspired, Focused, Confident, Flirty, Playful, Uncomfortable, Tense, Sad, Angry, Embarrassed, Dazed, Bored, Scared, or maybe something else. It's kind of beautiful in a way. Anyways I hope you enjoyed my analysis of Sims Emotion sounds (what am I doing with my life), now, experience, enjoy, and learn!

※※※ Eureka! It's (probably) meant to scare the player, not because Very Tense is life threatening (to my knowledge), but because you don't want your sims to be Very Tense.
※※※※ More analysis (yay...)! Happy is also Very Fine because the tune sounds like it was meant to be a Very variant. Confident and Flirty clearly take inspiration from Happy, which is just Fine with a harp tbh. Playful sounds sort of different, Inspired sounds different, but Focused (a "positive" emotion. When I'm focused, it's usually for school and that isn't that exciting/positive) and Energized sound very different. Energized and Playful share a musical link, which is well justified since when I'm really playful and excited I'm also energetic.

The "Sad 2" emotion is one that many apparently haven't heard. I'm not sure why that is, because for me, it seems like everytime my sims get sad, there's a 50/50 chance that either of the variants play. In almost every other "All emotions" video that I've seen on RUclips, the "Sad 2" has always been there. I really don't have an answer as to why you haven't heard it. I used to think that people just missed it because it was so subtle, but since so many are experiencing this, I guess it's something else.
