It broke my heart to hear that story. The blood, sweat and tears you put into that bike showed and it was a unique piece. So beautiful. I can relate, though. I once owned a 1965 Mustang convertible. The paint was faded and the top was ragged, but the car had no rust and no damage. It could be easily restorable to look as new. I sold it for $450. Yes. $450. It was a fair price in the days when they were far more common, but the regret I feel for letting it go just won't leave me. But, back to your bike; it's likely that the insurance company took possession of the burned carcasses from inside that storage unit and it may be worth getting the insurance company contact information and seeing if you can get the final buyer's name. For example, there's a junkyard here in the DFW area that specializes in buying wrecked exotic cars and motorcycles from insurance companies.

I just subscribed to your videos. I have watched quite a few of your videos and enjoy them very much. One of the reasons I really enjoy your videos is I don't hear a cuss word come out of your mouth. Now Mr. Cruiseman, I'm not a saint and I'll let a word slip here and there but some of these RUclips videos I think they cuss just for the shock value. Or ignorance, your pick. But thanks and I bought a Honda in 1974 ( I believe) a 450 I think???? Then I bought a new Kawasaki 900 in 1976, now that thing would fly!! Oh well take care and thanks for your great videos. Oh, right now this old man rides Harley Softail 2006.

That was a really sad story, what a shame. The only question I have is Why the heck did you not get rid of the versys And keep the 360? I'm sure you are probably asking yourself That same question about now. I think we all have vehicles in our past That we wish we would have kept. There is a chopper in my past That I built in my garage That is just one of a few regrets.

I hate to be a nit-picker, but you were getting passed a ton on the right. As you seem to like to go slow, shouldn't you move over.? Or maybe not record a video while riding? Enjoyed the story, so not trying to be a killjoy, but for all that we 2 wheelers complain about cagers on cell phones not paying attention to their driving...
