yes please to the foil placement video 🙏🙏🙏🙏 I love to have several different patterns to switch it up between clients!! Jessi, you are my favorite RUclips educator. I have been watching you since you first started and will always continue to do so!!!
Wow! Great transformation! I have definitely had that before that I will be working with a client to get them the color they want and then they go to someone else for reasons I don't understand and then come back to me to fix it. Sometimes that needs to happen for clients to realize and recognize how talented you really are and then they become forever clients. I would love a foil placement video too! I discovered your channel about a week ago and now I am just binge watching as much as I can lol I have been doing hair for 13 years and I love that so many amazing stylists like yourself are being so amazing and sharing your techniques and tips on RUclips! Balayage definitely scares me a bit but after watching so many of your videos I am feeling so much more confident! Thank you so much for all that you do! You rock!
Jessi thank you so much for sharing all your knowledge 😍 I so enjoy you It would be nice for your viewers at the end to show the before and after side by side I am so glad you don’t get bent over a bad comment😊 You are excellent at what you do PLEASE never stop giving You help so many of us learn new techniques formulas and ideas Spreading beautiful healthy hair all over our world😘😘😘
Yes yes yes for foiling patterns/placement video! I'm in school right now and love babylighting but I struggle with placement to avoid all "stripeyness" at the top of the head when my clients wear a middle part
I'd love to see a video on how to do money pieces with bangs that are growing out! The client won't have that nice blonde from root to the end length of her hair with bangs, so I'm interested to see what you would do in that situation
I hate when I'm working with a client that takes a few times tho get the desired look and they go to someone else and come back and I have to fix someone's mess!! 🤦🤦🤦😐😐😐
@@tita7284 why is everyone attacking this girls comment lol I’m not a stylist and I understand. When you have a client and your trying to HELP THEM achieve there hair goals and someone else touches there hair it’s hard as a hair dresser to correct some things because they don’t know what was done so it can sometimes look bad on them too when colors don’t turn out properly because they’re unaware of what’s been processed on there clients head. Some of y’all really have anger issues over silly things lol calm down
Thank you so much, you do not understand how much these videos help me. I went to the salon and had my hair done, highlight, baby lights color. They had a new assistant and I was fine with her training. That next morning I was in the hospital for four days due to anaphylaxis shock. I almost died, I was on a breathing machine for a few days. The assistant forgot to write down the products used. I do not blame them. It could be food, medicine even a bee snuck in while I was sleeping who knows? Since the doctors could not figure out what it was and that was the only thing new. I have a fear now of going to the get my hair done and it has been almost a year or so. Hair down to my but and orange as tried to have hubby do it. So I will have him try this at home. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
I would love to see your foil placements!! BTW, I so needed this! I have a color correction coming later this week and I learned some new tricks from this video!! Thank you so much Jessi!! ❤️
You're a magician! I didn't think this "hot mess" could be rescued other than a flat color all over. It looks fabulous regardless of what you started with but all the more impressive knowing "before" condition. Wow!
Hey Jess! I’m a stylist in Boston that specializes in blondes...you mentioned how I would go about this... I had a client who came to me with level 5 red brown(some spots were orange lol) permanent hair color with 2 inch of natural root and she wanted to go back to blonde while keeping her root. by ...i took small sections and balayage top and bottom of each section while avoiding the root. Every section of hair was painted at the end she lifted evenly and we toned her to a nice golden blonde...I wish I could insert pics...but I would have done the same to this girl. As always thanks for your videos I’m also thinking about doing hair videos on my channel.
Rayesfaves yes I balayage every piece because she wanted to be all over one tone with her natural roots so I balayaged on top and under with out touching her roots so it looked like a shadow root... you can go to my Instagram and see the result @coloredbyabby
Abby B hi 👋 I’m on your Instagram your work is beautiful. I know this video is kind of old, but I’m so curious to see the correction you are talking about. Which one is it? If you give me the date I can find it. Thanks. 😊
So pretty! I feel like there are limited stylists out there that really understand color. I have left the salon green, orange, bright red, it's so frustrating. I have no issues with a hair plan (multiple visits), but they just do not know what they are doing, I feel.
How long do you typically leave your root smudge on? And yes please to a foil placement vid!!! Turned out Gorg, you’re crazy talented with blondes 👱♀️
i’m dying. i didn’t see the chew toy comment and i’m watching this in bed with all my sleeping dogs... so i literally had to get up and go check the house bc i thought i had a burglar who was squeaking dog toys in my living room 💀💀💀
Damn this came out gorgeous!!! If youre interested in a deep color dive video, I would love to hear about how you choose a corrective toner for each situation. P, B, V, NA, N, VB, T- they all claim to cancel warmth and its VERY confusing! I'll see one toner family used a certain way a few times and feel like I'm starting to understand its purpose, then someone else will correct the same problem with a completely different formula and it sets me right back at zero. Please help! xoxo- struggling cosmo student
like when to use NA or B, or when to use T over P, when do you even use P, when is VB useful and how to (proportion wise) mix it with other toners so it's merely corrective and not a fashion color, what are common combinations of these corrective toners, how do you correct warmth when your target tone is still somewhat warm (like beige or sand tones), when is pre-toning with color depositing shampoos useful over just corrective toning, and if you do pre-tone what toners are no nos because itll be too much corrective pigment, etc etc etc
How I would've handled this, since U DID ASK. I would've busted the root and orange with a heavy highlight, thinly weaved with 12-20 volume. All the way through to her ends. There wouldn't be a need for a gimmicky "root smudge," because if you're confident with bleach and or lightner, then there's barely a need for a toner. I use the KISS method. Redken educator and platform artist...Keep it simple stupid. Not calling YOU stupid. Just saying u did way more than necessary to achieve not even a desired result.
@@justjessiiii I know you own it im glad you haven't sold it ! I'll be driving to Utah some day when I have the money to get my hair done by your crew 🤣
What do you even do??? Sounds like your poor assistant does most of the work...root color, toning, washing, blowdry&style, pictures, and checks them out?
I hate the outcome! It looks so normal! Like everyone else’s mouse brown dull colored hair! Uughh! The red was so much prettier. This bs of giving us roots is horrible!
Loved it! Yes please to the foil placement video!

Like here for this client you used both 9P and 7P in the formula- could you expand on why you made this decision? I wouldve never thought of that!!

What price range would you say you charge for this because that’s quite a bit of product.
Wow amazing! I hope you charged her 1 million bucks hahaha TONS of work in this video!
Please, show us your three different techniques of highlights
Yes I need to see some good foil techniques plzzzz
Amazing 💕
The squeaky toy made me smile. Lol.
We’re incredible
Katelyn Bradshaw may i ask you where your Pullover in the video is from? Its so cute, thx 🙋🏼♀️
Maxi Marks forever 21! Jess actually got it for me for Christmas!💞
I'm sorry, but it seems to me that you're doing a root smudge to cover up your poor foiling. I can clearly see tiger spots and bleed marks.
Also, if ANY product sat on the hair for 45 MINUTES, namely a lightner, and still left the hair orange I would seriously re assess my process.
The client wanted a rooted look
How long did that take
Looks beautiful pls a follow up the next time 😍🔥❤
Did you change the name to your channel? Are you no longer with the company? :(
