- Retired General David Petraeus is on the short list for secretary of state. The former CIA director would need a special permission to serve. He admitted sharing classified information with his biographer, Paula Broadwell, and is now on probation. The two were also having an affair. Only on "CBS This Morning," Broadwell is speaking out in her first national TV interview since we learned of the affair. The former military intelligence officer told co-host Norah O'Donnell that she has no will against Petraeus, but just wants to move on with her life and career.
Narcissistic.
More upset over her own career than what she done to her Husband
Paula’s husband deserves a “Lifetime Hall Pass” for staying with her.
Um.. actually after the hubbub died down, they got a divorce!!!
I have not seen anything that says she got divorced.
"Moving on" translates to "I don't want to be reminded of my misdeeds"
No sympathy for her or Patraeus because of the humiliation and pain they put their spouses through.
@Jan-Ola Ellingsen Or, you know, don’t cheat because it’s bad to cheat.
His wife is a looks like bloody Keebler, baking cookies living in a magical bloody tree.
Also imagine the pain his son also felt Considering he is also an Army officer And it’s national news that his father wasn’t faithful.
She is a narcissist
Affairs are a sign of the weakest character…
She was a former military intelligence officer. She knew better than to accept classified documents from the General. She should have been charged too.
Turns out she had more access to the general than people knew.
She has no remorse except getting caught. The affair is not as bad as her not admitting guilt.
Guilt for what?
They like sex so what
This sounds like a lot of whining....
Which ofcourse it is.
She should do playboy
Don't like the way people like to scapegoat the woman in extramarital affairs
Wonder how broad is her “well”? Did Dave had trouble even going “all” in and not achieving his mission?
Underrated, Bob Malarkey
@@komulipatrick4664 so was your mother, Trebeck.
Although it has so little relation to any of this, the woman Gen. Petraeus is married to (maiden name Holly Knowlton) has at least two brothers (bros.-in-law to the General) that graduated at same high sch. in the 1960s right before the true-life football coach arrived at this school to join as staff asst. and would be depicted three decades later by Denzel Washington in Disney's "Remember the Titans"?!?!
The general got off easy. Whey about his sharing top secret information. He needs to be demoted. No sympathy for him.
But she can count her blessings: her husband is a good, good, man.
Her husband should have divorced her... She has no respect for him. She's only sorry because she got caught.
@@kasimshaikh3750 Looks like they divorced within the last year.
@@kasimshaikh3750 yeah, no comment on DP's wife divorcing him.
No respect for a wife? No problem...life according to Kasim.
@@kasimshaikh3750 They're divorced..
Broadwell had it all in
"I'm humbler now" there you go. "Think broader Foundation......" Why have jails just let them start a foundation.
Seriously upsetting how much women deal with in high ranks or any work force issues
Yeah, and it's upsetting how much drama women cause in the workforce. Couldn't just keep quiet - had to start sending out threating emails and ruin multiple lives. Yeah, real sad for her.
Character is more important than any educational credentials. I would not hire her bc I don't trust her to tell the truth about anything. Upon his retirement, he lucked out on receiving any disciplinary actions. They should have severed his retirement pay. Is he still married? Paula may still be married and with her two sons, but I don't believe that life is rosy for her nor should it be under the circumstances. When will she stop seeing Petraeus as her God?
Donna Woodford she’s disgusting for what she did. Why get married and do something like that? I thought that she just wanted to write a book.
I agree she's only sorry cause she got caught.
She's divorced and going under her maiden name of Paula D Kranz
She called the Petraeus biography "All in."
Insult to injury.
stay tuned for the followup "In Too Deep"
no forgiveness both
bullshit
oooh paula ehhh david
nice dsl's
Did everyone get the memo ? "time heals EVERYTHING!".
It just shows how
Deployment and military tour make marriages becomes tubulancesss. With families. Emotionally tough job
But infidelity has no excuses.
She is so smug she’s clueless.
You know what, she got off easy. Many people face worse situations and have less prospects. Look at how she references her degrees, as if a degree equals worth (and character). She has lots of opportunities, just not the ones she thinks she's entitled too. So many people make mistakes and want to move forward, but then they have to mention a problem they had in the past--it's all over and people walk away. Welcome to the club, baby. You'll still have your military retirement, so it's not even about income at some level.
I don't think she realizes that she messed up at a very high level with something very important--a four star general. Sure, General Petraeus messed up, but he was prosecuted. Broadwell? Only demoted and loss of clearance. A much younger, admittedly fine looking woman, like Paula Broadwell, should have never been allowed to be close to General Petraeus.
It's another example of how officers sometimes only pretend to care about UCMJ. They don't mind applying the rules to others. However, when it comes to them, well "We're all on a first name basis here. Take it easy."
If she is humble, then she can work (for a while) at UPS, the grocery store, Wendys, or manual labor, generally. Will she do that? Did she do that? Who knows, but willingness to do it would actually show humbleness, instead of just talking about it (because as a pretty woman, she finally got her feet held to the fire).
Got the senses of the generals brain...looks capable of that.
ALL IN
OOPS! she forgot to mention her boyfriend's ratlines!!! see George Webb
I never heard of the word ratlines
I guess in the older pics she didn't look nearly as bad. Still though, need to keep it professional
She needs to just fade away
Has anyone seen his wife? I mean, you know, let's not get ridiculous.
John A S so, he made a commitment to her? That’s on him. He might be in good shape, but he’s not a hunk. His face is odd-looking.
This man made a commitment to his wife when she was young and gorgeous. They are together for better or for worse.
@@yasminbarry7941 hear that. i do. but he kept his mojo. she didn't. and honestly, if they're gonna be putting my girl paula through the ringer here, they should do him the same. not to mention, the other woman (not paula or mrs. petraus) who opened this can of worms is a psycho stalker. read up on that woman. i like a spitfire type, but that was some fatal attraction stuff going on.
But she has magical powers…she bakes cookies in trees
@@andressantos9130 you mean t he other other woman..
She’s an egomaniac that according to reports was cyberstalking Jill Kelley & General Allen. Why these incidents are not mentioned in these interviews is mind boggling in my opinion.
I know it's harder for women to move forward. For example, there is no male word for "mistress."
However, she did send the threatening, jealous emails. If she had not done this, the affair may have never been exposed. That wasn't Petraeus' fault. But at his position, he should have been above an affair that could have hurt our country. That's why he was indicted. I have to admire the spouses of both who forgave them and worked on their marriages.
He must have been blind 😊
Broadwell has a consulting firm......she is a joke fight back? go away and fight nothing.
Is broadwell still with husband
Why doesn't she talk about her sexual experience with General Peterus?
John Gotti has more honor than her.
Thats a fair enough case, she's smart just fucking hire her
Crimsonphilosophy Corporate America doesn't want the baggage she brings. There are lot of people with IVY league degrees who are underemployed. Im sure she could find a job at some smaller company or upstart. Her actions destroyed her credibility. Did she really reach the level of success all due to merit or did her sexual relationship with patreus open some of those opportunities. It made a lot of her writing questionable due to bad ethics.
Court martial
nice timing democraps
I mean, I mean maaan, I don't even know what to say.
This is less than what Comey admitted to do, and he's still a free man, uncharged.
God bless her
For letting Dave all in.
Women have to be careful
