Lashawn is so blessed! He did so well. He has favor with God. In Clermont, I watched and listen to him coach a young college 400m runner from Lake Sumter college..... it was so nice for him to take 20 minutes to explain running the curve and using your arms
The unfortunate thing about physical sports is that you reach an age where your body can't do what it used to. LaShawn has cemented himself into the history of the sport though so he has no more left to prove.
That's what I keep saying about Shelly. Age will bite you in the ass. I hate to see any of them slow down but I've lived through my 30's and something happens. It sucks but that's when you find a new slower rhythm to life and enjoy.
Then Bruce Jenner's whole family had custom made Yellow T-Shirts with Black letting at the 1975 USA/USSR meet - that said "Go, Jenner, Go!" The gave me the last one, cos when I asked them where they got them. I wanted to buy one! They had one left over, and gave it to me. It was so nice of them. I still have it, autographed by then Bruce, as he had just broken the Deca world record for the first time.

Merritt must have made it in. Congrats. Legend. The Times in the last race were slow though. The lane draw situ post rounds is an interesting point worth looking at. London, Norwood...not gonna cut it.
Norman is so blessed. He did so well. I love the fact that he is a blend of Japanese and Afro-American because that is similar to Wayde Van Niekerk who is also a descendant of all three groups: Asian, African and European. They claim he had a "tough lane draw" although the previous heat was won by the outside runner, Godwin, who also was in the NCAA's and finished out of the finals so he did not get the chance to beat Ross there.

Merrit time has passed, but he was the best anchor we had in his prime. US has so many 400 men and women it’s ridiculous!
He's in the semis next so it's a bit early to say that. Maybe, but we'll see. He might be setting a trap for the young upstarts like Ross.

Amen to that bruther. I know god chose him to be fast and furious. To live his life a quarter mile at a time.
I met Lashawn few years ago , he was a humble person .
I truly enjoy that both Bolden and Richards-Ross can critique yet still compliment an athlete. (Ex. Merritt) Nothing but straight professionalism

If Godwin can keep his last 80m together he can run a crazy time. Shocked at Ross performance too
He needs to loose 5 pounds around midsection😂
