I was struggling to understand MLE for few days now. Finally came across your video and your video totally rewired my brain to understand this concept. You are awesome man. Keep on making such videos.
Your mastery of the topic is evident when you are able to explain it so easily like that. Provides the intuition in a precise manner and with clear connection to the application. Thank you very much! Excellent teacher, please continue sharing, happily subscribed!
Maximum likelihood basically requires that you assume something about the distribution, otherwise you get those extreme examples that I mention throughout the video.
Your videos are perfect. A big part of the appeal for me is that you connect topics back to the bigger picture and how they relate to it.
Thanks so much for the kind words, glad you're enjoying them!
Hands down the best video on MLE!!!
Thank you!
Excellent video! It really explains this concept in a simple manner!
Absolute magnificent explanation!
Exactly what the title says! Thank you
Wow, great follow up with your prev video explaining probabilities and likelihood
Thanks sir

Thank you! :)
Crystal clear again. This video is another winner. Very nicely done, thanks. would be nice to see MLE contrasted with bayesian approaches.
Thanks! There will definitely be a few Bayesian videos coming up, and also a few contrasting different philosophies/approaches
So good! Combined with your video on probability and likelihood, I understand likelihood and MLE so much better now.
Thanks Walter!
these are perfect! dumbs it down really well while retaining all the info
thank's Mr. Brian
you have great videos !! thank you so much
Thank you! :)
We're closeeee!
Time for covering cramer rao lower bound!!
Good idea. It's on the list.
Thanks!
Thank you!
amazing, please make video on log likelihood
Bravo !!
What if you don't know what's the data distribution?
