It was so funny when Richard came on stage and sat down and referred to the chair as a child set.
7 foot 2 I never he was that tall - Wow !
i met him at my church in merced, i think it was late 80's. i was pretty young and small at the time and had no clue who he was. i just remember his hand swallowing my whole arm as we "shook hands". i was so confused because i was definitely frightened by his size but he was being friendly and gentle. pretty cool experience i never forgot.
Thank you for this trip down memory lane. Good times. RIP Mr. Kiel.
He was in the original "Longest Yard," Jaws in two James Bond movies, played all the aliens featured in the classic T. Zone episode "To Serve Man", and he was both the Diablero and Per Malfait in "Kolchak: The Night Stalker." Quite a memorable career.
The Night stalker was and is an awesome serious. He was also Happy Gilmours former boss turned fan, Mr Larsen.
A great resume almost any actor would envy, he certainly made the most of his situation.
He was also on an episode of The Monkees
I just recently saw an episode of Nancy Drew and the hardy boys where he guest starred.
