Thanks - you told me exactly what I needed to know and showed me the amount of water it's safe to add. I'll look out for a bottle of recommended coolant next time I'm out to keep handy as well.
Hey mate, I use fuchs titan, fully synthetic 10w40 or 5w40 I cant remember which but either is fine! Coolant on these I need to check the exact specification myself, will let you know when I find out!
Isn't it still too low? Isn't all of the white part of the tank suppose to be filled right up to the black part but not over. Also, isn't there a plastic "T" inside which indicates the proper level. That plastic bit should be submerged just a bit? The cap doesn't make a click when putting it on?
I think the facelift w203 has the scale on the side. I have the pre facelift version and im currently unsure how much to put in. I have read on the internet to use a black plastic indicator on the inside of the tank. But Im still unsure if I use the right one. If someone knows pls help.
I would not bother in a normal car, only maybe race or rally cars! Just don't forget if you're topping up regularly and a lot, it might be worth adding coolant in to make sure its not just ending up with water in there (and check why its losing loads!)

@@KoloG23 The top of the tank is black the bottom is white, you fill all of the white part but no over.
@@82windows82 Thank you very much. Greetings from 🇩🇪 ✌️
@@KoloG23 Just make sure engine is cold, best to leave overnight, never open when engine is hot you can get burned, the system is pressurized.
@ Yes I know that, I just was confused because every other car I know has a scale on the container. Still thanks for making sure. Wish you the best👍
I top up with tap water, is it a problem ? Should i really use distilled ?
