I love how she gives instructions. Very even keeled voice, doesn’t talk too fast and even i can accomplish what she’s doing. Excellent teacher and video.
Thank you so much that really means a lot. It is easier for me to make the videos as well when I go slower lol. I think sometimes I worry too much about going too slow but I’m really happy to hear you found it helpful.
@@prettydarnadorable crocheting is some thing I have been struggling with, but I’m coming along. I was more of a knitter, but I’d like the ease of one hook. Now that I’m using markers, I find it much easier. Keep up the good work! And thank you again.
@@annw-fitz4412 Thats wonderful! Yes markers really help :). I can knit but can never fix my flubs - so much easier in crochet 😉. Hope to see you here soon!
I love your tutorials n your voice is so soothing, n not impatient, your work is outstanding n beautiful, may the lord bless u with health n happiness, south Africa
Your welcome! Thank you for being here! Me too the best way to make a hat for me that way I always know how long it is going to be. Hope you enjoy making it!
I enjoyed the process of starting the hat. I used a size 6mm hook. When I finished round 5, my top of hat was 7 inches wide. I will take it out and make it over with a smaller hook size.
I also like Susan Bates crochet hooks as my yarn flows off the hook smoother and has a nice flow to my stitches, just a personal preference. Love the instructions and will be making one along with the video♥
Thank you so much you will be getting an update my Internet kept pushing out while I was trying to upload the new pattern so keep it watch for it. I’m gonna try and do it again within the next hour or so but thank you so much and reach out if you have any questions.

Love this! Thank you and I can't wait to try it. What if I want to use a chunkier yarn and my swatch is bigger than 4 inches after row 4? How would you adjust?
How do I change colors? I’m confused because I am making this hat and I changed colors on row 5 it didn’t look right to me? Help lol😊 I bought ur pattern
OK you are absolutely right you don’t need to join for the colour change I think I was thinking about the video I just did so all you want to do is on your last stitch before you change your colour finish that stitch off with the new colour and continue to the next round does this help? I can send you a link to another video showing how I do the colour changes.

You are so welcome!
Best tutorial EVER‼️🥰
Wow thank you!
Cool, will try it soon.💋
Have fun!
Love this! Thank you and I can't wait to try it. What if I want to use a chunkier yarn and my swatch is bigger than 4 inches after row 4? How would you adjust?
Yes you can! If you use chunky it will be about an inch bigger - i would go to the blog post and make the size smaller.
Thank you so much❤❤❤❤
You're welcome 😊
Beautiful beanie 😍
Thank you! I hope you enjoy making😍
How would I adapt this if I want to use Bernat Blanket yarn? I have a family member who is requesting a particular yarn.
It wouldn't work with that yarn - it would have extremely large bumps :(. I could recommend bernat velvet yarn - it is smaller but still super soft.
I dont see why you didnt close row 2 before starting the Triple crochet round?
Why, not closing? There's no back seam on the hat :-)
Can we make floded type?
I never had would be interesting to see though
How do I make this for a child size?
All sizes are on my blog :)
❤❤
How do I change colors? I’m confused because I am making this hat and I changed colors on row 5 it didn’t look right to me? Help lol😊 I bought ur pattern
You change colours at every round, but be sure that when you join, you also turn the hot
@@prettydarnadorable so I turn on each round? What do u mean hot
