      I’m sure there are books that answer my questions, but it’s long puzzled me how G and J derived their clever “Beatle chords”, which define their sound! Did they sit around trying different voicings and chord variations, or did they have a secret music mentor who advised them? What role did George Martin play in all that?

    Hey Sam… great to hear you play this song! I’ve been trying to get George’s lead sound with my Gent but it seems like George has this extra grit in there that a clean signal doesn’t have. I’m wondering if that grit is George’s amp on the edge of breakup or there’s tape saturation going on. What do you think is happening there? BTW.. love the Gear There and Everywhere group! :)

    • @sampopkin
      @sampopkin  4 месяца назад
