I love AM because they not only sell great muscle car mod products, they have these awesome videos that show you exactly how to install the products on you’re muscle car. Great job 👏
Great video 👍🏽 . Can I install this with a 90 mm or 85 mm throttle body bbk or it can only be installed with the stock throttle body in the charger rt 2021 ?
Both options are good, it really comes down to which you like the look of more! Technically plastic will retain less heat compared to a metal intake tube. -Zach
With the hellcat hood and popped open headlight cap it does amazing actually. It rapidly cools down almost ambient temp. But with a stock hood and without proper air flow i could see it sucking pretty bad.
Why do they call them cold air intakes? These are "HOT AIR INTAKES". If you can see the filter element when you open the hood, you have a "HOT AIR INTAKE!" That crappy little partition around the filter counts for nothing!
They are cold because if you install one you there's a hole in the bottom of the air box sucking up cold air. Back then the short ram intakes were exposed the heat of the engine and no cold air.

Thanks for the love, Eric! -Zach
Fun fact: if you have the T/A trim with the functional hood scoop, the air box wont fit right. Might as well stick with factory intake on TA

Yes. A charger and challenger rt have the 5.7L V8
Can a dry filter be used in place of my k&n typhoon 69 oil type filter?
I'm interested in which one is best metal tube or plastic?

Where where you when I was looking how to install this model in my car
I was saying the same thing a couple of months ago
So it’s not a closed air box which means it’s not getting cool air at all….
