The subtle progression in 3 parts on that riff makes it my favorite ever too.

He has been there and done that.
Jesus Tod is the simplest and most evil riff of all time. Trance like, relentless, murderous, haunting.
All his music is "trancy".
No wonder Burzum transcend the genre.
