Just for you, when I get home from work tonight I’ll make a short on here showing how I have the bag attached. It’s stayed on and never slipped off. Hopefully that will sort it out for you 🤙
I se you not using liner bag. I just got the small for my gsa. Haven’t installed yet. I doubt I’d use the inner bag either as plan to leave on lock. Assume it’s waterproof anyway
Alright mate. I also agree I think it’s waterproof due to the rubber seal that runs round the lid. But actually I installed the bag to see what it was like and have left it in since. For me with the crappy weather we are having at the moment it gives me some more peace of mind when I’ve got my camera gear in the back. I don’t actually zip it up I just leave the top flap attached to the lid by the loops and that’s it. 🤙
Looks like a great top box but it’s getting towards Deliveroo size. I tour 2up a lot and we replaced the standard GSA top box with a 46L Givi. Last two summers in Europe the panniers and top box were not full and we had enough clothes for 3 weeks and everything else needed for a tour. I’m always thinking keep the weight low and balanced whereas a big box like this filled and riding 2up would leave the front light on mountain passes. You pays your money ….. Great channel 👍
Love a good top box. Have one on my GSA. The only downside is when you get carried away (and you will) and stuff everything into the top box. Then one day you realise that you have developed a wobble when setting off or turning round. You will then ruminate as to why you have developed this annoying wobble. You will probably only realise when, one day you have to take the top box off the bike, and are shocked at how bloody heavy it is! It is only then you realise having such a heavy lump so high up doesn’t aid stability. Ask me how I know 🥴😎.
@ love it! I’ve got lots of LR gear..all top quality and great customer service! I’m taking the silver brackets off motobags now to paint do will do brackets. Rest of bike already done inc the grey tank😂
@rmoran113 good effort mate. I’ve got a bunch of their smaller bags to fit to the bike / panniers as well. Just installed the crash bar bags yesterday. 🤙
@ was actually looking at those recently but honestly think I’m good on storage! Don’t want to be your stereotypical GS rider with everything including the kitchen sink! Doing a long trek from key west to Ak in June want to keep load and weight down

How get lid to stay up on inner bag. With net inner dint stay. Assume I’m missing something

Haha. I’ll keep an eye out for this mate. Luckily I keep the side bags on to keep the extra weight low 🤣🤦🏻🤙

I know mate. But it’s an easy fix when you are blacking out the crash bars and other bits. I’m still really happy with my back box. 🤙

I will be honest a GS rider looks great and looks good 👍 however don't think it would look good on a Mt 09 😉😂
