    I was doing perfectly quantized drums for years, then I realized, putting them slightly off beat makes it a lot better.

      you can select all and press "humanize." it'll randomize the volume of melodies and timing it's played just a little bit

    Moving a soynd forward off the grid adds weight to the sound before... and moving the sound backwards adds weight to the next sound. You can be very creative with swing to add subtle dynamic power to your song

    Also if you can just record it in yourself. Don’t worry about quantization when starting out, that comes with time it’s just to humanize the sound by playing with the velocity

    Honestly I have started slightly taking stuff off the grid naturally when I make music on my phone. It's easier to quantize everything because the phone is small but sometimes even though everything is technically on time, it sounds slightly off so I started tweaking stuff
