dude I was so upset when Seth got a second place. I have never been a fan of any particular sportsman or a team, but for some reason I cheered for Sensei the entire season
The hurt in Seth's voice when he found out about the pool was palpable. Edit: The hurt when Seth found out about the scoring for hide and go stab... Even more so.
I wonder what the score would be if they used the season 2 scoring, which objectively makes more sense to be compared to each other. There was a lot of 0 point scenarios, like no one got points for the shank tank.
On S3 we totally need a Parcour guy (Toby Segar, maybe..?) on this. Yes, running has repeatedly not worked well in this format, but everyone here is also not trained in running , nor in specifically running through urban environments.
6:54 You see, that’s a common misconception. His last name isn’t ‘Teaches Jiujitsu.’ His MIDDLE NAME is ‘Teaches’ and last name is ‘Jiujitsu.’ You were very close though. 👍
Crocs are great footwear for the right applications. Should you ever wear crocs in public unless you are a nurse or a line cook? No, probably not. Are they a substitute for running shoes? No. But for yard work or other domestic tasks, they are really comfortable.
I showed this to my buddy at work and he’s all for Craig too 😂 he wants to see the average man come in and own this. Honestly, I wasn’t sure what to expect from him, but I like his style 😂😂
I was watching a video from Jesse the other day where he was talking to a Silat master who said something along the lines of "if you are going to run away you have to cause at least one attacker maximum harm before running to slow down the group" and that was the first realistic explanation of how to run from a fight I have ever heard. As an aside Jesse's 100% commitment to the brand is wild lmao
Proof that you can't run away from fights...unless maybe you actually train running and/or parkour enough to be far better at them than the average person.
@@BrianErwin-v4l By what? Are you under the impression that nobody has ever escaped from a fight on foot? The faster and farther you can run, the more likely it is. Most people are in terrible shape. My favorite part of this episode was seeing Jesse putting the moves on those guys and even arming himself with one of the knives. Quite a departure from the events of the first season. So interesting!
Icy Mike has a video on running vs fighting and pointed out that strikers can get lucky but two people running was a straightforward athletic competition between bodies.
I love this react video! When I watched the first few episodes of season 2 I immediately thought of you, Seth. Thanks for uploading this! Keep 'em coming!
I've said it in Rokas' channel, Imma put it up here again: Someone put Craige up with Icy Mike! He has some great street level knowledge! You and Mike with Craig and see what knowledge and shenanigans that you guys can come up with.
i would absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE to test myself with these types of challenges!!! hopefully one day they will let regular people/ real subscribers to apply for a chance!!!!
Surviving a Knife attack without any weapon of your own is extremely hard... You either get super lucky or you are genuinely extremely experienced wrestling against a knife, against multiple attackers tho you are Julius Cesar getting betrayed by Brutus & it's crew which means you are donso.
In the hide and stab challenge, I would have stumbled out holding my chest screaming for a medic. Hopefully people wouldn't be sure what to do and it JUST MIGHT buy me time to find an opening to sprint to safety.
im late to the party. last night watched all of what's been released from season 2 so far; then binged all of season 1 (never saw it when it dropped, so had to catch up); now watching sensei's reaction to season 2. rly lookin forward to watching the rest of season 2 and all your reactions!
IT IS ON!!! 🔥 Awesome to see your reaction Seth! Who wants to see Sensei Seth in USDC again? 😎😎
Me, I want to see.
Absolutely
Go for it
Give him a rematch!
SEASON 3?
I'm surprised Seth never mentioned losing season 1 by a single point.
Haha
He did mention it!
Hahaha

I don't think I stopped smiling once during the video. Nothing would make me happier than seeing you cover the rest of the series.

Toby or any of the storror guys would be amazing
The addition of improvised weapons was a big improvement over last season.
They get sponsored by some self defense pencil nonsense. That will get you put in a strait jacket if you use it in most situations.
I would have loved to see what Icy Mike would have done with the improvised weapons. And also the bar scenario.
Oh man, right before they introduced the regular guy I was like “they should get a bloke, just a dude, and see how he does”
Well they got a bloke indeed 😂

For the successful knife disarm alone im all in on wanting the one and only Karate Nerd to win.

the real meaning of "running away" is avoid unnecessary conflict the best you can. but when conflict is unavoidable then we must fight.
Its hard to determine the best "style" for self defense, when the decisions we make have a big impact on the outcome
Craig might win this through the power of simply being born in Australia.
