First off this isnt spam! But wanted to throw out to everyone I started a facebook group called Halo 2 on insignia OGs trying to build a community to set up games swap gamer tags etc. would love for anyone to join! Lets bring back the halo 2 nostalgia together!
It's crazy to think that with the way old matchmaking used to be (up until halo MCC) only like 200 concurrent players at all time would make this game feel more alive than MCC.
@@WillemDafuq69 if I loved pancakes, and couldn't stand waffles, would it be a smart idea to find a video about waffles and go on about how "waffles suck and pancakes are better", just to be irritating. I love waffles btw but that's not the point, point is, have an opinion and don't be so triggered as to hate on the opposing side when its fine either way. That's a waste of time in my opinion.
@@riskiestsole1583If I loved waffles but someone showed me a video of a rotten waffle with pubes, mold, and spiders mixed into the batter and said "Wow! This is just like the waffles my mom used to make!" I still wouldn't care. Nostalgia aint a good enough reason to make an experience worse.
@@WillemDafuq69 look, I love the advancements that have been made and that we experience today, (crankin' 90's in 8k 2000fps is great) but just the fact that some group of people made it possible to play a 20 year old game online and making it possible to use the of the time hardware, giving it a new or extended life, is just awesome and is a love note to the community which is nice af lol And as a community that loves this franchise seeing OG Halo 2 working on OG Xbox Live on an OG XBOX all we are doing is celebrating our love for what we had and are lucky to able to experience again after its been dead for so long due to upgraded standards and lack of legacy compatibility ect. Its almost like jumping back in time and reliving history(the good parts) There is a reason why people play these older games and part of it is nostalgia(which isn't a bad thing), but a lot of it is that games are art and art is timeless no matter how small or niche the community that follow it is. It doesn't mean we think "older is better and everything now adays sucks and your opinion is wrong" its just we like the old shit too lol And there isn't a problem if we find joy in that, just like how it isn't a problem that you prefer newer stuff. For me personally its more than fps count and pixel density, its about experiencing something that I was too young to fully appreciate and now that its revived I'm happy I get to share my experience and enjoyment with others. Halo 2 is an immortal game because there are so many ways you can play it: OG via Insignia or XLink, MCC, and Project Cartographer
watch in 360p for an authentic internet gameplay video experience from the Halo 2 era.
Mint Blitz and Jackie Chan?! YOO WE FUCKING BACK
I love and miss og halo 2 I was 5 years old when was playing this game I wish I can play online on my Xbox 360
Online services for the 6th generation of consoles are being revived and I couldn’t be happier. All we need is more and more players.
It makes me so happy that people still love this series after all this time…
It honestly still looks
So good

Oh God, BALLS!!!!
You need to look at the radar more often
You are absolutely correct
To the 12600 registered users get off your asses and play
Balls
I think i'll just stick to 60FPS and 1080p+ on modern hardware
Other than collecting, there's no reason to waste time with ancient systems
You do you, I do me, we all "waste time" in our own different ways
@@riskiestsole1583 true, but i'd prefer that my hobby of playing videogames is actually enjoyable
