- This is already such a great day because I get to share this video with all of you. Dumb And Dumber is on top of my favorite comedy movies of all time! I have been wanting to go to Salt Lake City for so long and mainly for this reason right here..and let me tell you Utah did not disappoint! This state has become one of my favorites and I cannot wait to go back and see more. I will keep trying to go to The Depot every chance I get and I'll even share it with you even if that means I post a one minute video haha.
Dumb And Dumber was written by: Peter and Bobby Farrelly and honestly I think its the best comedy all around. The movie also has the best cast starting with one of my favorites: Jim Carrey, Jeff Daniels, and Lauren Holly...among other amazing actors. The movie was released on December 16, 1994. I even remember watching it in theaters and walking out because my sister and her friends thought it was so dumb! lol can you imagine? I remember then watching it entirely on TV and immediately loving it, I had never laughed so hard!
I really hope you love this video as much as I do. I have so many great memories involving this film like when they decided to do Dumber And Dumber To, I made some videos to audition to be an extra for the film and of course I didn't win, but I had a blast making them and the fact that the Farrelly brothers saw my video is amazing. Leslie, I live in Salt Lake City, & worked at the hotel Jim Carey stayed at while he filmed the movie here. I kept, & still have the $20 bill he tipped me when I took his bags to his suite after his arrival. Great Job on this video!

Great job this was a childhood favorite movie of mine. Really crazy I lived in SLC in my 20’s And not knowingly viewed an apartment at that building they lived at in the movie, I almost rented in that building lol and I interviewed for a job in the building where Lloyd killed the Owl lol wow .

I live in Utah and have always been stunned I live so close to a couple of filming locations from this movie. I've passed the mansion and train depot countless times whenever I happen to be in downtown Salt Lake. Between this and Sandlot being filmed close by is amazing.

I do want to go back sometime and visit The Sandlot locations, that would be cool!

You need to come back and film the diner with the salt shaker and boilermakers. Its only about 15 minutes west of the airport.
As someone from Salt Lake its been interesting seeing the filming locations evolve and change over the years.
That diner sadly no longer exist

Leslie, my house is located right between Dante's inferno and 7 11 , towards the end of the video you were in my neighborhood in ogden , so I kinda live on the set of Dumb and Dumber .

Most of it is in Salt Lake City, Ogden, City Park and I believe that’s it. You can also google dumb and dumber filming locations and can find all the addresses
