Elden ring was my first souls game. And honestly I’m no gamer at all. The last game I played was Zelda on switch. If that tells you how much I game. lol. But I loved Elden ring. Like over 1000 hrs love it. I also didn’t struggle much at all. I started out going south and did all weeping peninsula before going to stormvale castle. So I played it perfectly, honestly. So yeah, being my first souls game, it sparked a real love for these titles now. I’ve went and played the rest of the titles, including some souls like games, like lies of p. The challenge is really what becomes addicting. You feel like you truly accomplished something playing these games. And the lore is really amazing. I know this question came up in this stream, about recommending Elden ring as a first souls game, and I am living proof that it is very do able. And I’m a forty something year old, feeling like a straight kid playing these games. Lol
Hey guys, idk if this is really a skip or what, but I've been really happy to discover it so I'll share. If you get to the bottom of raya lucaria and let the IV kill you and port you to volcano manor. When you arrive and turn around, it looks like you should be able to make the jump to the main part of the manor (not the double IV fight), but you can't (at least I personally couldn't). So, if you use the special of the winged scythe and angle yourself correctly to hit the wall on the second part of the special you glitch out and land safely on the bottom of the lava pit. Then you can spam heals and scythe specials to get to safety and finally to the main part of the manor.
You can make that jump if you R1 with a shortsword just at the end of your jump. And just like in ds3, to get through the lava faster, you can use a dagger's quick step skill.
In the same vein as Botw 100%, I'd love to see someone try a "100%" for elden ring, not all achievements but like all bosses, equipment and items. It'd be insanely hard to even route but crazy to see I don't even see an all 165 bosses category on the speedrun site RUclips doesn't want me to link, but I wonder how much competition there would be if there was, surely a few people would want that crown of the hardest category in elden ring speedrunning
Just when I thought I’ve seen the hardest of bosses at level 56 I was wrong. God I love this game. Playing confessor and I love it. High attack and faith build. Hardest boss for me so far was Godskin Apostate… it was no joke.
@@tarantulathree-one8013 yeah I know. I beat Bloodborn a bunch of times plus Old Hunter and had a field day Dark souls 3. Nameless king wasn’t fun. So Elden ring?👀👀 yeah it’s more fun and tougher and I love it

Watching through your play through finally and have been waiting for you to get to the lake of rot… never in a million years would o have guessed you would completely ignore the puzzle and attempt to brute force through the scarlet rot 😂😂😂
Here I am having spent 30 hours in the two starting areas, while dis is literally in mines of moria.. Someone tell this man you can jump over all AOE attacks in this game.
The godskin noble at liurnia tower is so ez. Sprint in to jump attack once then roll back and repeat. That's 99% of bosses weakness. All these spells and charged attacks take way too long to wind up.
I can't understand how can he kill those bosses from a first try without knowing their patterns and timings... It should be possible, how so you know how many attacks there will be, how fast different strikes charge. If boss gonna make 2 hits within 0.3 second.. Impossible
@@Charliestrife01 I gave up yesterday after 2 hrs of tries with those gargoyles from begging of the video, even memorized patterns, and dodge them 90% times. Still some clusterfuck happens and I die. This is such a good series, I really appreciate the RUclips uploads!

5:22:07 Dist finally gets rid of the baldachin's blessing debuff and doesn't even realize it.
I’ve been tilted watching this playthru for countless hours lmfao I am so sad he didn’t realize he had it.

"Elden Ring is going to be a really long speedrun"... that didn't age well.

Favorite part when he’s fighting FIAs Champions and he says “that’s all you got” then 3 spawn and spam attack

Just wait, if you hate just the Apostate, you're in for a rude awakening.

The Jellyfish Shield. Found on a body surrounded by jellyfish north of the "Foot of the Four Belfries" site of grace. 😄
Crazy how Dis finds all OP things in his first playthrough xD
*tries to powerstance 2 hammers * doesnt even have the stats for one of them
and is surprised it didnt work XD
BIG BRAIN
I was waiting so long for the moment he get this somber 7 :)
Would powerstancing to boss great swords be a good idea? God slayer and say morne at +9?
Hell yeah I'm powerstancing grafted greatsword and ruins greatsword
13:00 I accidentally killed him when he was charging at me from above and fell into the abyss
6:38:45 best moment

So he’s really good with the higher tier enemies, but sometimes looks noobish with the basic enemies lol
I’ve been watching for 6 videos, does he ever attack on the left side of his horse 😂 maybe video 7 🙏🏻
Lmfao not much
Coffin spaceship! :O
I think you reuploaded part five again but with different length

you play on play station?
2:43:40 lol

I disagree, Elden Ring is my first Souls game and I'm not having a hard time I rather enjoy the game.

Several thousands of hours speedrunning From games. Educated guesses about attack patterns from that.
Chose this over porn. No regrets
ok
Goddamn you never explore fully.
it's annoying as fuck

Why does he make the same mistakes over and over in combat lol
Dist is so good at games but can be one of the most annoying people to watch. No sense of direction, the memory of an ant, and constantly rushing lol
