There’s really not a recruiter you can speak too, you just apply and then someone would reach out to you to go over the information if you qualify then they will push you to the interview
What about pay at McClane.. how much you averaging... I be applying to the Houston DC here soon and they said the pay for the first year is $70k... I am assuming the $5k sign on bonus is apart of the $70k.. Also days off? Position says no Saturday dispatch.. does that mean we only be off Saturday or do we still work 4 to 5 days a week depending on volume.
The pay is based on componet pay so you will average anywhere from $2100 - $2700 every 2 weeks depending on how you run that's just low ball park average with no food experience. That bonus is not apart of the $70K its seperate. McLane operates 4 days a week if you have a route if you dont have a route expect to work 5 days a week. Usually if you have a route it depends on your day off but once you get one your schedule will tell you what your days off are. If your running extra board then no guarantee days when you will be off you'll be working by demanding basically whenever they need you they will call you. We dont dispatch on Saturdays so that's the one day your guarantee off
I see. I was wondering because my end goal is to go back and be a driver from my old company which is Martin Brower. They are located at East point there in Georgia where you at..... only thing I am lacking to get on right now is Food delivery experience
I havent heard much about Martin Bower but I know McLane hires whether you have food experience or not because thats the point in training people so you can get familiar with it and deliver
@@solOperator at first yes because they're on a different payscale and plus the reason I was making allot at Sysco was because the cost of living was higher in Colorado so they pay more and the cost of living in GA is low so they dont pay as high in Colorado but it's still good money because of the cost of living. Wherever you live the pay is going to vary to accommodate the living expenses in the area
Gotcha. Yea location makes a difference. I'm looking at getting off the road after 3 years flatbed owner op and mclane and sygma are the 2 food delivery companies im looking at. Do you know anything about sygma? I guess they're owned by sysco. I'm looking to get home every weekend. Can you get home every weekend with mclane?

Aye bra I’m from Atlanta I’m over the road now i make good money but I want to be home I’m not afraid to work how many off days do you get and do they drive automatic or manuals and do they pay weekly or bi weekly and what’s my average check can I expect and how many stops do we have plus will I always have a help mate with me
Drive Automatics Paid Bi-Weekly And the pay just depends if you have experience with driving and food. If you have over 3 years of driving you could expect to start at decent pay rate but if not you'll start at the bottom and have to work your way up. It's totally worth it the money is there just have to be patient. I work 6 days a week because I choose too so I can make the most money. Average for a new person you could expect anywhere from $2000-2400 bi-weekly
So If I work 6 days a week what will my check look like and what terminal are you out of because I live in Stone Mountain georgia it’s 30 mins from lithonia also will I be running teams or I will be solo also is it a long process to get hire or they don’t need drivers like that and since I will be a new hire will I have to run at night
@@martinflawless675 I work at the Forest Park location. I dont know about the other locations but I like to work In Food Service because they make more than grocery from what I've been told and seen. Like now I'm on pay grade 2 out 5 and I make between 1600-2000 a week so imagine if I was on a different payscale I will be making mad money
Okay I guess I will be working for that one do they give referral and sign on bonus because I’m on hometime now for like a week but I’m with a Otr company but once I apply I will tell them that you referred me I guess I will do a month out back on the road and then apply I watch all your videos for mclane so will I be solo or teams

which one should i try to go into us foods or sysco soon as i get out of cdl school in atlanta for the most money ? feel free to name me any other companies you know in atlanta
If your in Atlanta I would defiantly go to U.S Foods. There’s nothing but horror stories about Sysco in Atlanta unfortunately...haven’t heard much good about them at all I would defiantly not recommend & if you do your going at your own risk. McLane is good also they have different locations & they pay pretty good as well. Not to mention Gordon Foods they pay decent from what I heard but not the highest you could make about $60K - 70K a year with Gordon but with U.S Foods once you get your feet in the door you can easily make over $80K a year same with McLane.

There’s really not a recruiter you can speak too, you just apply and then someone would reach out to you to go over the information if you qualify then they will push you to the interview
@@FoodServiceDriver Thank you!
@@user-gq3uh4cy2f anytime my brother
@@FoodServiceDriver that's good.... yeah Martin Brower does all off McDonalds and some DCs like the one there now does Chiks Fil A as well.
@@sevokevo oh okay that's for the info
What you bring home for McLane
I bring home anywhere between $2200 - $3400 every two weeks after taxes
@@FoodServiceDriver so you made less at mclane than at sysco
Thanks for info ,what abt for owner operator drop and hook ,did they have load board or how I will contact them thanks
Owner operators there is no drop & hook they’re driving the trailers and unloading them as well. Your basically doing the same work as a normal McLane driver but paid way more
Aye bra I’m from Atlanta I’m over the road now i make good money but I want to be home I’m not afraid to work how many off days do you get and do they drive automatic or manuals and do they pay weekly or bi weekly and what’s my average check can I expect and how many stops do we have plus will I always have a help mate with me
Drive Automatics
Paid Bi-Weekly
And the pay just depends if you have experience with driving and food.
It all depends on your pay grade honestly and how much the route pay but if you on a decent payscale. If the routes you run on 6 days a week makes good money and your on a good pay scale your golden.
@@martinflawless675 You will be doing a mixture of both. They primarily do team driving because they cover more ground and also it pays allot of money. You can be solo but all the seniority dudes have the good ones that pay. Sign on bonus they do have those as well as referral bonuses
How strict are they when it comes to your driving record? I put a very small scrape on another truck with my trailer at a truck stop, got warning for failure to maintain lane and put a hole in the cab of my tractor when the kingpin went over my fifth wheel and pushed the handle bar of my bike into my truck.
Also do they have auto's at mcclane? I dont have a restriction but I've never driven a 10 speed(well one time). I took the cdl test in a syncro trans.
@@Hallahanify They're transitioning into Automatics but they do have a couple of manuals just know if you dont have a restriction possibility your going be in a manual. As far as driving record your going to have to call the recruiter for that one honestly they're strict on certain things I know when it comes to tickets but I dont know about accidents
Do these companies require hair follicle tests?
None of the companies I worked for required it except for when I was applying at Gordon they did. But Sysco and McLane all piss test
Just started working at Sysco about a month ago…Salt Lake City area.
How’s it treating you ?
Damn intro music almost blew my speaker out
McLANE grocery side is really easy and lighter then food service side but they are both good compared to other food services
How much do you make
Definitely not fuckin Penske Logistics STARBUCKS they suck bigtime
You can have a driver with less than 3 years and and 3 speeding tickets and two wrecks and Penske will still give them a 3 year safety bonus!!! LMFAO!!!
Do you think sysco would hire me with log violations? Everything else is clean...no tickets, no dui/dwi, no accidents. I didnt even get ticketed or fine for those log violations either.
I would give it a try bro , I know Sysco don't hire people with too much violations on their record

which one should i try to go into us foods or sysco soon as i get out of cdl school in atlanta for the most money ? feel free to name me any other companies you know in atlanta

McLane Honestly you can make good money at both but I see myself making more money here.
Out of curiosity the sysco checks where they bi weekly numbers or weekly

Good thing about Sysco is I’m off weekends and I don’t do over nights. I’m out of a shuttle yard so only average 5-600 cases and I make close to 90k a year. You guys do 1000+ cases and do overnights and weekends
