McLane fs driver out here in IA. It's gonna suck when we lose Buffalo Wild Wings here in May. Milwaukee loses them next year. The case counts are gonna sink!
For us it don’t make a difference because we don’t deliver to allot of them but I know other places it’s going suck…trust me I know about Miwaukee I used to help out up there and I know how critical it’s going be. We loosing them this year in June.

How is mclane about transferring to a different mclane in another state due to spouse finding a different job. Do they let people transfer to different locations?

Get your permit and then apply. For CDL Trainee they’re going to put you through their school to get your CDL. If things changed they’ll let you know but that’s how they’ve been doing it lately.

In training do they pay more than $14.00 per hour? I talked to a someone to set up a interview and she said when in training you only get $14.00 per hour but when I seen the job online it said $18 per hour. Just trying to figure something’s out before switching over. Also if I have a HOS violation for going over my 11 hour clock by some minutes affect me when I go to my interview? I have one year experience over the road and regional.
@@FoodServiceDriver thanks for answering. I just got the violation less than a month ago. It’s the only violation I have. My job put me in a situation where I had no where to pull off the road to do my 10 hour reset. So I just kept pushing it until I made it to my destination. I was a mile away when my 11 hour clock caught me. And my 14 was less than 15 minutes away from catching up to me. I immediately said forget this it’s definitely time for something else. I just finished doing O.T.R and never had a violation. Now I’m on a dedicated route they try to push your whole 11 hr drive time with barley a 30 minute break.
@@jbolden2086 I just saw this but you have the save haven rule - so that violation should fall under that if you drove to the nearest safe place to park. I’m aware of that drop yard we do shuttles to there. All depends on what paygrade you come in at. If your at paygrade 3 or better then most definitely.
