QOTD: Aim Labs has really helped me improve my aim, especially my flicking. But I always jump into the range just to get used to how long it takes to kill enemies with certain weapons
Lorenz Yeah aim lab has its limitations tbh and Kovacs miles better but aim lab is free and it really does help with aim consistency and general aim improvements.
The duo tip is great, I’ve been playing with the same duo for 2-3 years in CS and now Valorant too. It’s always nice to have someone else you can count on who shares the same mentality. We know what eachother like to play and how we play and after playing for so long together, we have great chemistry. I highly recommend finding a duo :)
One thing that's overwhelming for me is all the character abilities. I'm so used to CS:GO so don't use my abilities as much, my brain just forgets about them
As someone with 600 hours in Kovaaks and 10 in Aimlabs, They are somewhat equal for beginners but when you become intermediate/advanced, Kovaaks is miles above.
QOTD: I try to do light physical stretches (wrist stretches) and drink some water before each game. I find that it helps me stay way more engaged with each moment of the game, and not staying focused in is definitely my biggest weak point. It’s too easy to just zone out as you’re waiting for a push and get caught off guard with a quick, well-aimed peek.
Especially as omen, it is imperative that you check minimap before using paranoia, as is can affect your teammates. Check the path, radius, and range, to make sure that you don't blind your teammates or make your dark cover hide an enemy.
On the range I'm focusing on improving my score with the Marshal and the Phantom right now, as the first helps with first-shot accuracy, and the second is helping to get recoil and burst-fire sorted. It also doubles as warmup along with repeating the defuse/plant practice while dialing down the gun budget there.
Little tip with the marshal it can be used as something like a vandal because it one shots in the head and has pretty good hip fire accuracy but good luck with your games and practicing
Yo nathan why you making a vid while having an injured jaw, i appreciate it and all but bro ur health is more important than the skills of our gameplay
I record my games every now and then, when I get frustrated with things after a session of playing, I'll go back and watch a bunch of them (wins and losses) and try to figure out what I could have done better during a specific play.
I’m just practicing on range, that helps a lot. I’m new in FPS and after month, few days ago I get to Bronze 2, now I’m in 3. Thought I’ll be in Iron. Guides like Valorant base with Molly’s are helpful to. Some videos on RUclips for pro spots skills agents are too like Cypher wires, cameras.
QOTD: To improve I do 30 mins of aim training a day and also try to play one session of 2+ games a day, but only if I feel up to it. (I usually do because Valorant is a lot of fun)
It might sound cliche, but practice genuinely helps you a lot. About 30 minutes a day can get you from a beginner to about beginning intermediate in about a month.
A good tool I use for vod reviewing is AthenaScope. It creates individual highlights for kills, but also for deaths. I review these daily and it really helps find out which mistakes caused me to die every time.
start playing for the first time yesterday never played on a mouse and keyboard in my life went 0-21 first game went to tdm and grinded just went 9-5 the grind on getting better is addicting
What do I do to improve? I enjoy a nice face-smash into my desk when I shoot someone in the head twice and they don't die, then turn around and shoot me in the head once and I die.
To warm up I play spike rush because it’s quick fun and efficient i feel, to practice using kovaaks or the practice range. I’m new to mouse and key and this works well for me.
What i do is: Use Bulldog And Sheriff For shooting range and find some crosshairs but I warm up at aimlabs A sentinel will give space to people but I use cypher to give information to people I always think of an agent to use in valorant on different maps like Icebox: Reyna, cypher or sova Breeze: yoru or cypher split: Brimstone And the other maps are cypher and raze I always learn the map callouts or If you're gonna use omen I recommend you to study map placements If you are on split sewer I teleport to the corner.
QOTD: I consistently practice on aim lab everyday, and then I watch pro gameplay and guides. After that I focus on three key concepts I learned and try to practice them in comp games for the rest of the day. Once my day is over I do a little positive negative delta list to see what I did well, what I did wrong, and what I should change for the next time I practice ^_^
QOTD: I have started to always practice in the range before I play a game, it has definitely helped with my aim, I used to never go in the range ever lol
i’m desperate man 😭 last month i was getting around 30 kills each game and now i can barely get 20 where did i go wronggggg :( why did my braincells leave me...

To awnswer the question i like to play a aim lab multiple times to get a certain target then i play some deathmatch with the guns i use in a normal game
To get better after a bad game I’ll go on the shooting range on medium and try to hit 20 targets with vandal I don’t stop until I get 20 score a few times in a row (usually takes like half an hour)
Cant do anything when the enemy team and my team doing stupid things like. When i see an enemy they just panic and spray and go ADADAD and i got auto dink, which make me miss my shot.
I want to play Valorant but im scared because alot of people are having problems like their pc broke, BSOD. My friend pc freezes and BSOD. is it really safe?
only one of my friends has a pc and he switches between his moms and dads house so he can only play every other week, and my audio jack doesn’t work so i can’t hear/talk to people 😭😭
i currently have been training my aim 2x a day 15-30 min sessions always before playing. i will also practice some tasks in between tasks if i am waiting for queue or teammates.
You know, there's one thing I keep noticing when people play this game: Why do so many people always plant the spike in the corner somewhere? If they've secured the point, wouldn't they want the spike to be easy to protect/hard to defuse? e.g. In the open so the defenders have no cover. This video does show the spike being planted the way i'm talking about, so i'm curious why it's so common/uncommon.
There's two situations where this could be the best possible move the make: 1. They're planting for one specific area: e.g left/right indented corner of the middle box of B site in Haven, which is planted for windows, or behind the box on B site of Split which is planted for the corner (idk what's it called, but my friends and I call it the bitch corner). 2. They're either planting alone without an idea of when or where the enemy is going to swing, planting while having at least one angle their teammates aren't or cannot watch for them or even during a gunfight between their teammates and the enemy. Other than that, yeah sometimes lower elo players tend to feel unsafe when planting in the open, which is definitely a mistake on their part. Edit: Here are some examples that I could find from briefly skimming over the video: 8:10 planted for the bitch corner 8:38 and 9:25 planted for elbow etc, etc Btw, if you can be specific about where exactly you meant when you said that the video demonstrates the planting in corner sort of idea can you please give me a timestamp as well? Thanks,
honestly i think that aim is the least of most players issues. game sense is always the move. think about why you are losing and try your best to not blame your team
QOTD: I play about an hour of kovaak's before i hop into the shooting range to practice movement and burst/tap firing, then i do about 1-2 spike rushes then 1 unrated game then i am warmed up enough to hop into ranked mode. If ever i have a day where im not feeling my aim, and im just bottom fragging and missing the shots i normally hit, i just stay outside of ranked and just try to practice strats and aiming. Outside of game I also keep up to date with how the pros play and look at tourneys/vods so i can see how they approach holding down a site or peeking.
Idk why, but I was bad when I left this game for siege, the went to finish my placement games, and got top frag and top leaderboard in all the games. Yet, I’m still watching this
