Vampirey Chatting & Nadja Inspired Makeup from What We Do in the Shadows

- I'm in love with the series What We Do in the Shadows (aren't we all?) and I've wanted to do this makeup Nadja (Natasia Demetriou) wore since I first saw it! It's glamorous and spooky, but it's still a soft goth makeup. Honestly, I think it may become my go-to look for the foreseeable future.
Also! Please know I send only joy and positivity to Twilight fans. I was only giving my account, as I remember it, of the dynamic at the time True Blood was airing and the Twilight films had been, or were being, released!

Thank you! Yes, I do have real candles I use around the house, but I’m always extremely careful about not leaving them burning when I’m not in the same area.
I do also have flameless ones(a lot!) that are all over the house, I which I do love-but they pale a bit in comparison to the real thing. 🖤
Loved this makeup, you look absolutely stunning! I miss True Blood it was so dark but hilarious at the same time! I feel like most shows these days take themselves too seriously especially when it's about vampires or werewolves, you have to go a little crazy with it :D

True Blood did a pretty great job of going back and forth between seriously dark and absolutely goofy. Loss and grief are such big themes of the show, so I think the silliness really helps to balance that. I laugh and cry equal amounts when I watch it 🤣🥺🖤
I miss those characters & actors terribly. Nelsan Ellis(Lafayette) was such a magical gift to us all.

The Sookie Stackhouse mysteries. I loved them. I wish they had added Bubba but I know why they didn't. I stopped watching the show after Billith showed up
Yes! I had to really compartmentalize the show from the books. Those last few seasons went totally off the rails, but I stuck it out-I guess because I just love that world so much. If nothing else, I had to keep watching for Lafayette 💜
@@SaraMonsterOfficial I gave up. I kept reading but I got to a point where Eric was about to get married to some Vampire queen. Sophie Ann was a better character in the books than the show. I'm not looking forward to the new Interview with the Vampire TV series. Twilight is fine but a bit toxic for teens, Lost Boys is better. The 80s were definitely the great decade for vampires. Lady Gaga as the Countess is my favourite in AHS Hotel

Southern Vampire Novels. They were great but the last 2 felt a little phoned in. :( True Blood was a good show but it deviated so far from the books I kinda wish I had seen the show before reading the books.
Yesss! SO FAR. I think I began reading the books before the show came out, but only right before. So I was kind of simultaneously reading the books as the seasons rolled out. It got confusing for a minute and I really had to work on my compartmentalization skills 🤣🖤
