In India. Portronics does a similar thing. U get the same sized speaker as jbl flip 5 for nearly less than 25% less price than the jbl with better sound and quality. As u might know that jbl and ue are priced insanely high than international markets. And ue is expensive than jbl.

The dude was Dutch, and blasted upbeat foreign EDM as we sailed through the blazing sun and rapid seas. It was such a time. I remember diving off the boat to grab the speaker because it tipped off the side and smacked off the rim, but the blaring bass was still going strong. I still dont own one of these because money wise I cant afford it but it's been on my mind to this day.

I bought the Megaboom 3 two days ago, and its a really great speaker. The design is awesome (i'm done with the basic jbl look), and the sound is amazing, soft and hard, it all sounds great. You also got the equalizer with soms pre-set situations wich really comes in handy. I do got some tiny issues, but overall its a great speaker!!

I'd honestly say its waterproof, I bought one 4 years ago and my friend thought it'd float so she threw it into a lake and after seeing it obviously not she dove in after it and it went pretty deep. Still works great!

I accidentally ran over my original boom with my SUV and although it bent the grill around the speakers it still works perfectly years later. These things are crazy well built.
My go-to Bluetooth speaker will always be the Sony SRS-XB10 Its a tiny ass speaker, but the quality of the sound and the amount of bass it puts out is absolutely beautiful.
I have a boom 2 and it's been tossed around as a football, put in the water, dropped several times and has taking a good beating, it still works perfectly and sounds great. These r some of the best portable speakers out there would highly recommend

I have the JBL Flip 4 and my friend has one of the UE speakers (I can't remember which one) and we both tested it and to me personally I prefer how the JBL sound especially the bass and since recently JBL released the Flip 5 I have now dowth its gonna be really good
it really is drop proof. I dropped my ue boom 2 off a 6 floor parking deck and one year later, it is STILL kicking. These things are rugged monsters. I've had mine for at least 5 years and it still sounds brand new. I highly recommend it.
I consider myself lucky with finding one of these. I was on my usual walks, when I found one of these just dumped in the middle of the street. I took it home, and apart from a little dirt on the speaker, it was still working. It had a substantial charge in it, and I tested it out. It operated well! But then again it is waterproof.
I have the first ue boom for 4-5 years now. And that one is water proof and drop proof and engine oil proof and i have personally tested it (not intentionally) many times and it still works amazingly well. So i am excited for all of their products. The mircro usb was ok when i got it since all my devices had the same charger, now i need to carry one more charger for it and that is the only downside i can think of

Weda Prd take it to the nearest apple dealer and ask for a solution. If it’s a warranty issue it’s ok because it lasts 1 or two years unless the screen is cracked. Other simpler things to do may be to restart/reboot the device or removing the screen recorder from the quick bar when you swipe down from the right hand corner. Good luck

IP 67 is rating is for outdoors/wet location so otherwise it can get rained on or be in heat etc. Far from waterproof but the rating is more then just a water rating and nobody ever mentions that.

The recessed cable is actually a way to prevent you from using any other cables other than the UE official cable. Unsure if it's that great really in case you are away from home and need to charge but didn't bring your official cable. Also under no circumstances take this near water whilst you are charging with a battery pack. I took this on holiday straight after purchasing and was drunk AF, took it into the sea on a small inflatable kids boat whilst attached to a battery pack (LOL). It quickly died and now only sometimes charges on the base. The micro charger part is ultimately screwed now.

My original Boom will not die. Still going strong after 6 years! Dropped mine no less than 5 times on concrete and asphalt. Just rode in a thunderstorm and it's not even the waterproof version. The 1/4" thread on the bottom is good to attach a lanyard.

you should try a jbl product i have a jbl charge 3, 4 and a flip 4 i think they are as good as a UE product and in europe they are a bigger deal then UE
Try KEF Muo. In my opinion it sounds better than the booms. I had an ue boom 2 and change it for a kef muo and never looked back. I"ve also tried the boom 3, but for me, kef just sounds better and it's about the same price.
My Boom 2s Micro USB connecter finally gave up on my after five years struggling. Shame this has the same peripheral but I'm still going to get it because I've yet to find a better product series in my price range yet than the UE Boom Series.
One issue I have. It won’t mute the keyboard clicks. The JBL flip 4 and LG PK3 both do. So with the Boom 3 you hear it when you type messages while music is playing. The other issue is that the mic does not work for phone calls. The Flip 5 has the same issue.
I love my UE Boom2. Had it for 4 years. Plays anything that can go through Bluetooth. No subscriptions necessary. I don't want to talk to it so there's no security problems! It's portable so we can take it out to the park with our dance group for a good sound production. Size of a Pringles tube. Battery life OK. 12 hours for this model is only possible at lower volumes. Perhaps 4 hours at max volume.

have my for 8 years now, works like a charm, of course battery is down to 50% but way long enough to play 10 hours of music.

As soon as you say micro USB I say nope. It's 2019, usb-c fast charging is a must.
JBL flip 4 is better personally and you can connect up to 100+ speakers (JBL) to it.

One issue I have. It won’t mute the keyboard clicks. The JBL flip 4 and LG PK3 both do. So with the Boom 3 you hear it when you type messages while music is playing. The other issue is that the mic does not work for phone calls. The Flip 5 has the same issue.

I love my UE Boom2. Had it for 4 years. Plays anything that can go through Bluetooth. No subscriptions necessary. I don't want to talk to it so there's no security problems! It's portable so we can take it out to the park with our dance group for a good sound production. Size of a Pringles tube.
Battery life OK. 12 hours for this model is only possible at lower volumes. Perhaps 4 hours at max volume.
This speaker is Loud! Fills my whole 1 bedroom condo. If i had a party this would be perfect!
