What a great idea! You always have such wonderful recipes and ideas! 💡.
Thank you! Give it a try and let me know what you think :)
Thank you for this interesting recipe. 🌹
I have just gotten into the same beef gelatin you used here cant wait to try I was wondering if it would be good to do the milk that way let it cool a bit and put it in a protein smoothie? Also I have made your spatchcock greek chicken it was such a hit in my house I love Greek and Mediterranean food .....Julianna
Thank you! This is great…I don’t drink coffee but thought I’d give it a try and it’s really good. I had to sweeten it some more but I don’t like coffee per usual.
Greetings from Saskatchewan 🇨🇦
TY Sweet Dimitroula mou! I'll try to make it. I would prefer to use bpa plastic cups
Supposed to be extremely good for the joints 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
From Alaska ❤️❄️⛷️🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸
omg I was just wishing I could find halaal beef gelatin and you mentioned it. How do you know about halal? I'm ecstatic.Thank you for being considerate!
I looked this gelatin up on Amazon and the back label says 10 grams of protein per tablespoon. She put 3 tablespoons in so that’s 30 grams plus the milk. Pretty close to 40😉
Is this kosher gelatin because that’s a really important factor for some people.
Yes, this brand is kosher. It is currently sold out on Amazon. Hopefully they will restock soon.
What is beef gelatin?
Collagen. Made from connective tissues, tendons etc from cows.

I'm sorry, no way there are 40g of protein there. Did you mean 4g maybe?
Gelatin powder is pure protein, so yes, 3 tbsp plus the milk would give that amount.
@@rubygray7749 Yes, if you click on the product link you can see the nutritional label. Each tablespoon has 11 gr of protein, so the 3 in the recipe will come up to 33 gr, and the 7 is from the milk.
It is worth noting the warning against consuming so much gelatine on a regular basis.
"Can you eat too much Beef Gelatin?
"When taken by mouth: Gelatin is commonly consumed in foods. It is possibly safe when used in larger amounts as medicine, short-term. But taking high doses of 15 grams daily might increase the risk for side effects, including sore throat, swollen gums, and mouth sores."
Lot of sugar between the milk and honey.
Lots of protein can cancel out the sugar!
A teaspoon of honey isn’t really that much. Milk contains natural sugar. One gets more sugar in a StarBucks. So perhaps when you make it you can eliminate the sugar. That’s the beauty about these kinds of drinks. You make it the way you want.
Dont use either if youre worried about it or use heavy cream (almost zero sugar) and your choice of low GI sweetener. I do gelatin/collagen/butter quick blend and YUM!
How is this 40 grams of protein? The only protein in it is from the half cup of milk.
She used beef gelatin. Gelatin is a protein obtained by boiling skin, tendons, ligaments, and/or bones with water. Yum, eh?
I thought the exact same thing lol but apparently 1 tablespoon of the beef gelatin is 11g of protein... No idea if that's true but it says so on their packaging

😂 I can’t say I find this recipe very tempting.
3 tablespoons of gelatin have 33g of protein plus the milk :)
I just use Vital Proteins collagen in my coffee easy peasy.
