If Zen can keep his cool in the major, Vitality have a huge change of winning, regardless of how good other teams are performing. He is starting to induce a true Thierry Henry effect
Here's a funny thing: The first goal that Zen scored here should be at something like 5 km/h, since it was just barely floating in, but it was measured at 71 km/h. Radosin hit it as it went in. I think the game first registers that a goal was scored and then measures the speed/triggers the explosion. It still has to be a really tight timeframe to hit the ball and speed it up without stealing the goal. And last week something identical happened in NA. I don't know which game, but it was a Furia series. Same thing, ball slowly hovers into the net, gets hit and sped up to 40-something mph, without stealing the goal. Did these things happen before and I just didn't notice it?
I feel like NA demoes more out of necessity. NA playstyle is more defensive, so you usually have defenders with considerable boost guarding the net. This makes demoes crucial to create scoring chances. EU plays more aggressive with your third man more pushed up. So demoes aren't as crucial for creating space. Furthermore, since NA teams give each other space, it's easier to demo. EU teams like to suffocate you with tight aggressive rotations, so you get fewer opportunities to demo. I remember when BDS almost perfect swept V1 at Worlds last season, people were confused why Comm wasn't demoing more as his team was struggling to score. The answer was he barely got any time and boost to even think of demoing as BDS were suffocating V1.
I'm EU that watched mostly NA for last few years. Honestly I don't think I could describe demos EU, you'd have to Q on EU servers to really get it. We definitely use distractions and misdirections more, whereas NA seems to pressure through the rotation more. It's like you have more to care about in NA, but in EU the plays are smarter overall. I will say though that I picked up on Retal's demo style and make it work very well EU. But I'm also not at very high level, average champ to high champ. People get frustrated very easily if you start to heavy demo them, but some people will use it against you like you say to get you out of position. The style still works, but it's gonna be a lot harder against pros. I feel like Vitality practices passes a lot. I want to see SSG and Optic vs Karmine, Vitality and BDS. I don't think NA will win worlds. But I'm open to being proven wrong.
you say its textbook but in reality its not textbook which is why he excels, while he is wildly mechanical but the real reason he is as good as he is because he is able to think outside the box on a level above the "textbook pro"
I love alphakep shorts but there’s nothing better then these long style videos, fuck it might have to make a twitch account just to watch a stream, seems like the place to be
everyone is saying how NA demos a lot, but something I learnt recently was how much Liquid demos out of every team at the major. Team Liquid was 3rd or something for demos per game this split, sure Optic topped the list at 5.4 demos per game (over 1 demo more than anyone else) however, they also seem to get obliterated when a team above them performs to there correct ability. This makes me think Vitality isn't going to struggle with Optic. So a better example to look at would be second place which is SSG. They had 4.39 demos per game, compare this too Team Liquid with 4.31 demos per game, and i think Vitality or the rest of EU isn't going to have any major problems with demos at the lan. Sure Optic might catch a few teams off at first but nothing that can't be resolved during scrim practise.
i think with regards to the retals and the whole demo'ing has a lot to do with optic fully committing to that sort of playstyle. If you watch retals new coms video vs FaZe you notice that was one of their biggest points that optic as a team focused on
The problem with NA Esports as a whole is that for most players here and the general overview is that we don’t view it as an actual career. In EU its like a 9-5 for them and its so serious. That’s why there’s European dynasties
nah it’s his ability to make the right decision that puts him above the rest. yes his mechanics are insane, but they wouldn’t be anything without his game sense. he always understands when he needs to be super sonic or when he can chill and save boost.
Its the beginning of the end. I called this when I started seeing doubles / redirects where I thought there was a way to connect those two where you can basically play boomer mode which manifested themself as psychos as you can use them in so many ways. The issue with doing those on command is it forces you to be tight with your mech's and you need mastery of car, ariel, and read mech/skills Once people start consistently being able to do this, the skill ceiling will be hit as after that it will circle back to fundamentals (shooting, team work, 50's) and then after that.... its basically it. Zen is the first to truly sink the hours to master the skills properly and now is show casing them, now you're gonna see more kids like this pop up (if the game keeps up relevancy which it isnt bc technically the player base is dying) but a team of zen's vs a team of zen's will basically be peak RL and then its basically just gonna turn into irl soccer watching games go fully and end in 0-0 lmao
Cant disagree with u kep the demos are really hurting na I hav a strong feeling na is not making the grand final of this upcoming major eu looks so strong zen is a beast and if u commit to demoing your leaving your tm8s to stop zen by themselves and I don’t see it working too well excited to see 😊
I really respect you and like ur content so I don’t mean this in any bad kinda way, but I reeeaaaaalllly appreciated that you didn’t shout in this videos intro haha!
Hey man, like the idea of the video but I think the execution could have been better. Feel like if you organized your thoughts more and had some more structured thinking and logical flow to the video it would have been more engaging
Zen is just the most complete player in the scene. It doesn't matter how he plays, his presence is felt in every game.
There is no doubt Zen is changing the game as we speak. Can’t wait to see what he achieves by the end of it
Zen is so good it’s ridiculous can’t wait to watch him play in the Boston major
When is major
I never noticed how good his decision making was. Great vid
If Zen can keep his cool in the major, Vitality have a huge change of winning, regardless of how good other teams are performing. He is starting to induce a true Thierry Henry effect
might just fuck around and win major and worlds. won't be shocked at all

The ball wasn’t in when radosin finished it so it measures the speed that radosin hit it at.
@@attilapilbart6410 Nah, it was in. Zen got the goal.
Great video, zen is insane. kep get some rest 15:39
clean thumbnail kep. love the content!

zen really bingewatched every kep replay and proceeded to dominate eu
I Honestly love these videos so much. Your commentary is solid AF well done bruv
Zen seems to play for his teammates, to make them better. The fact he can pop off when he wants is genuinely scary.
I like how differently Kep can act in each video. Love the convent, keep it up ❤
Not only he Changed the game but he made the iconic fennec design that changed rl car design
the bluster bar with dark purple and dark red?? bc those were from vati and first weren’t they?

Eu demos less, but the pace of play is much faster with a lot more cuts in rotation, makes it harder to demo anyone
This was awesome man, Keep it up. Great content
Have you got a sunburn kep😂 also good video❤️
I love alphakep shorts but there’s nothing better then these long style videos, fuck it might have to make a twitch account just to watch a stream, seems like the place to be
94% to 100k lads. Get him there!
The algoooooooo. Good vid kepner

Retal is shit compared to zen 😂😂 why would he analyse retal
my opinion is Eu grows up playing soccer, heavy team related sport
Watching Zen in this video he reminds me of Monkey Moon, but with more mechanics
The Vitality’s coms are avaible on their official channel
I blame comm for the huge increase of demos the past few seasons
Zen is the new goat of rl
I've never liked and commented for any RUclips. But Kep ur the goat, hope to see u at 100k soon
Great video as always kep
Zen is an actual AI, and definitely the best out rn
Well put video!

I swear he’s gonna role every other team all on his own
Yeah id like to see him TRY to 1v3 every pro team 😑
I don’t believe that zen is real
i swear zen is so consistent, he's making pro players have to be consistent to actually compete
One more love the content one day I will be good enough to que in ranked ❤
zen is the new justin he is so good
Who would win prime moist team or vitality now?
I think Zen's confidence and consistency is setting him apart from the rest.
nah it’s his ability to make the right decision that puts him above the rest. yes his mechanics are insane, but they wouldn’t be anything without his game sense. he always understands when he needs to be super sonic or when he can chill and save boost.
Key to success = be Zen 😢
Wise mind for flow state. Wu Wei, Yin Yang, and Zen :p
w video
Kep has turned to ZenBaiting xD
Zen is gonna be like lebron. Such a great all around player
bro I need a hogan mode vs vitality. I beg.
whats the backround music at 1:32??

Zen almost looks like if Flakes had practically the best mechanics in the world.
like and comment for the algorithm
LET'S GO
nice
For the algorithm 👌🏻
that s why everyone should play 1s
Zen could potentially end up being the faker of rocket league with the path of success he's currently on
I really respect you and like ur content so I don’t mean this in any bad kinda way, but I reeeaaaaalllly appreciated that you didn’t shout in this videos intro haha!
maybe boot-camping made the difference in ssg vs furia
hes just going over this so he can say alpha a million times nut riiiider
you carried your team ngl
It feels like he’s looking at the game as if its a replay, idk if that makes sense.
The goat
nobody remembers that bds were the previous world champs lmfao
I wanna see a zen, Rw9 and FK take on the world tbh 💀
Zen is unbeteteable, he is different
Hey man, like the idea of the video but I think the execution could have been better. Feel like if you organized your thoughts more and had some more structured thinking and logical flow to the video it would have been more engaging
Zen just dropped into being the best 3rd man in the world. 🤷🏻♂️ since he got there he’s somehow made radosin better too.
for the algorithm 😎
thoughts on your dad farming the 2s leaderboard? bros a beast
Watching this after BDS dropped them in spring major be like:
Watching this after vitality won the major be like:
@@aizhuhuang8709 imperfections 🙈
suiiiiiiiiii
were just wild and stupid
just a note "vitality seem to be the best team, even compared to NA" - aren't the top 3 teams EU ?
he is the zidane of rl, nearly every ball he touch he has massive positive value
Hey alphakep if u can would u be willing to help me get better
One more thing I forgot to say I wish I was as good as u and I hope someday I get to play a game of rocket league with u
he´s talking like we doesnt watch rocket league.
"didnt think rise would have a big impact"
Vitality isn’t the #1 team in the world. Yet. They still have to prove it.
