    I get a kick out of departments that make it next to impossible to get hired, yet in the same breath cry and whine about how they're short staffed. While making it seem like they don't want to hire someone.

      If we've learned one thing from the plandemic, it's that a shockingly high percentage of "law enforcement officers" are oath breaking trash who would wipe thier asses with the Constitution if some commie politician told them to. I was formerly a rather strong supporter, I now work from the starting position of most likely this guy is unworthy of anything that even resembles respect. There's a special place in hell for oath breakers. Maybe they won't corrupt you, good luck to you, and eat sh!t oath breakers

    I wanna say what a great and informative video you’ve made. As a man in his 20s, your older and wiser viewpoints and recommendations are great. I think you showed your deep understanding with the example of ‘running and gunning’. A young officer giving advice might say “you just shouldn’t do that”. On the other hand (im assuming) you know that this is something that will happen regardless of advice. So with that you show someone how to twist it in their favor. I dont know but the little things like that show how much experience you have.

The reason I failed was entirely because I had no clue what departments wanted to hear from applicants during the Oral Boards. Had I taken 5 minutes to research or had access to videos like this things may have been different. Now at 43 I’m making the effort again to become a police officer and although I haven’t landed a job yet I have my 4th different Chief’s interview in a few hours where before I never got past the initial interview. It is a long process but good luck! The interview with the chief is important and very easy. Just dress up nice and give smart answers. Hint...make sure you know the population of your city and what the city is good for. Someone told me to know these informations. When I went for my interview, the chief asked me those questions.

    • @Chris-el4hd

      @@Grant-du8ix thanks so much! What do you mean by "what the city is good for"? Thanks again!

    • @Grant-du8ix
      @Grant-du8ix 2 года назад

      @@Chris-el4hd by that, I mean "what do you know about the city?"
      I was also asked "what do you think our role is about this police department?" and I said "to protect and serve." For some reason, I also feel like you will be asked that question too.
      Written test is easy and the interview with the chief is also easy. The Psychological evaluation test is the toughest one. They will make sure if your brain is wired the right way so, make sure that you stay out of trouble, avoid speeding, and avoid anything that is bad. Because the Psychological test will find the truth about if you are lying or not.

    I wish my son could have seen this video before he went for his p.o. interview, he just had one and said he was nervous and it was intimidating. To take you to the beginning, about a dozen men showed up for the written and physical and half of them had to drop because they weren't able to pass the physical so then that left 6, one of which was my son. So he passed both the written and physical parts and then had the interview which he did pass that, all 6 did and my son came in 5th place for scoring on the interview. Next he said he waits to get a call to see if he passes the background check and if he does, he will be sent to have a mental evaluation done, and then if he passes that he will be headed to the police academy for 4 months and then hopefully become a police officer. He wants this so badly and I'm praying he passes everything and makes it all the way. Is it bad that he came in 5th on the interview scoring list?
    He started work at Walmart as a cart pusher and is now a department manager, he's been with Walmart for 13 years. His work ethic is excellent.
